Close to the airport, which was convenient. Not a bad drive to UM, downtown, Coral Gables, and Virginia Key. We felt safe, although it seems like a high traffic area. All rooms have a queen/king bed with televisions and the sizes are decent. Good lighting throughout the house including outside. We spent a lot of time outside in the backyard and with a family of 12, there was plenty seating. Property managers also responded quickly to our questions.
My biggest concern during our stay was the floors. It rained the entire time we were there and the marble floors inside and the steps leading up to the front door are very slippery when wet. With two elderly people, it was a safety hazard, especially since there was only one tiny floor mat at the entrance. My suggestion include bringing your own bath towels, towels were limited and the ones that were there were not great. Also, if you plan on cooking a lot and using the kitchen, you may want to consider bringing your own dish soap (they only had dishwasher pods), kitchen towels (nonexistent), and paper towels (only 1 roll for 4 nights with 12 adults).
