We loved our stay. It had everything we needed and the staff were helpful. Particular shout out to Sarah the pool waitress who was wonderful. The friendliest, warmest member of staff by far. She really brought a warmth and personal touch to our stay. Give that woman a raise. Our room was fairly basic with a view of a neighbouring hotel roof, so nothing nice to see, and it could do with being updated and deep cleaned as was getting quite shabby, with coffee stains up the head board etc. But we spent little time in our room so all in all we weren’t too phased by it. In room coffee machine was great. Bikes being included in our stay was a nice touch that we took advantage of one day. Pool was also nice, if perhaps a little on the cold side as not heated. One little piece of feedback would be that I would have appreciated a response to my message when we booked. I booked this stay as a surprise for my husband’s Birthday, flying out that morning. An acknowledgment or response to my query regarding a good view room would have been great as there was no option to choose this when we booked and I’d have happily paid extra. A further nice touch would have been a Happy Birthday at check in or even a ‘Where have you come from? How was your 14 hour journey?’ These little things really make a stay special. Thanks for a great time. We’d like to come back again in the future.

Check-in was smooth and the staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the hotel itself is quite dated and in need of improvements. My room had a strong urine smell, the safe didn’t work, and there were no hand towels provided. Despite making several complaints to the front desk, nothing was resolved. On my second night, the doorbell kept going off and woke me up multiple times, followed by constant beeping from the safe. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and sadly, this will be my last stay at this hotel.
