Cannot see the beach from this hotel, need to cross a very busy street and go another block to get to the beach access The room we stayed in should really be a break room for staff and or an office as it is on the ground floor corner and the street has a very busy intersection where there are ALOT of horns honking, all day and into the middle of the night. The mini blinds did very little to darken the room for sleep. The internet was glitchy. The bathroom has a sink no counter space. Affordable parking is half mile walk away.

The room was a good size plenty of space to spread out and move around. The bed was small in the bedroom. They should put king size beds but it is not. They did accommodate one hour extra for check out at no additional charge which was nice. There is no onsite parking and it is difficult to unload/ load your luggage due to limit space in front of the hotel. The only major issue for us was the ice cold water. We could not shower on the morning because there was zero warm or hot water. Only ice cold water. For this reason I would not stay there again.

One of the main reasons I booked a room at the Westover Arms Hotel was because of its “very good” rating on Expedia. We are a family of four with two children under 10, and unfortunately, our experience didn’t live up to the reviews. When we entered the room, we were immediately overwhelmed by a strong mildew smell. Opening the windows and using air freshener didn’t help. The sleeper sofa for the kids was a sticky leather couch that felt uncomfortable and uninviting. There were no proper blankets—only thin throws that had hair stuck to them, clearly from previous guests. The room was also quite noisy due to constant street traffic, which made it difficult to rest. On top of that, the room telephone kept lighting up throughout the night for no reason, adding to the disturbance and making it even harder to sleep. Additionally, there’s no onsite parking; finding a spot in public lots or on the street was a challenge. Overall, we were not impressed, and this hotel does not deserve its “very good” rating.

We had a wonderful stay! The location was great.. just a short walk to the beach and within easy walking distance to great restaurants and cafes. The beach access was a huge plus, and having a washer and dryer in the unit made things so convenient for our family. The staff were all incredibly friendly and accommodating — they went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall, a great value and perfect spot for a Miami Beach getaway. We’d definitely stay here again!

Staying at this hotel was a good choice. Near free-trolly stop. A CVS is located across the street. One block from beach. And beach service is included on price (umbrella and 2 chairs). Affordable price. Room has a full kitchen.

How is this place still in business?? The place is completely outdated/dilapidated and the service was horrendous. A smoke detector in my room started beeping due to low battery at 3am, no one was at the front desk and when I called the hotel number - no one was around to fix it for hours so I did not sleep at all that night. They also put me on the first floor which was less than 10 feet from the street so I heard everything. I asked to be moved and they said they couldn't do anything. I told them about the smoke detector the next morning - they sent someone to try to fix it twice, on the third try he finally fixed it but when I asked if the hotel could do anything to reimburse me, they just brushed me off. If you are a woman and reading this, please don't make the same mistake I did by staying at this hotel.
