Nicer & more spacious than the hostels of my 1980s youth. At 62 I was only a little older than average. Mix of men & women 70/30. Clean, nice linens, other guests respectful that we all wanted to get sleep before hitting slopes the next day. And soooo close to Sugarbush.
Near the Ben & Jerryâs tour, and 45 minutes to Stowe, but less expensive than an in-town location. I was a bit uneasy about the interior door locks that didnât work. Also, the proprietor made comments about a porn star that made me uncomfortable.
I have been staying at Hostel Tevere in Warren, VT for over 10 years when I ski in this area.
This place is reliable for a comfortable night's sleep and is still as good as it was since the first time I stayed there.
The quality of hospitality provided by this establishment is wonderful and recommended for any traveler needing basic lodging that provides comfort and cleanliness.
The owner Ryan was very friendly. Enjoyed drinking coffee with him and other visitors each morning. It was also nice chatting with the other friendly people who were staying there. Great way to enjoy a few days of snowboarding at Sugarbush.
The restaraunt on site is good with a great selection of beers. Bed and bedding was very comfortable, much better than most hostels. And hot coffee and blueberry muffin included the in the morning was much appreciated. Owner is friendly and laid back. Nice place.
Such a unique and comfortable lodging experience. There is a restaurant attached with great food too. The host was helpful and keeps this place running magically. There is plenty of outdoor activities nearby. I would stay here again and recommend it. My first hostel experience and everything else will suffer by comparison!
I have traveled all over the world, this summer and state of many different places. This one tops the list in terms of delivering what it advertised and being a great option after a few days on the trail.
Friendly and responsive host. Nice and quiet accommodations. Comfortable bed. Restaurant is attached to the property. I would definitely recommend the hostel!
