Overall, I’d recommend this budget hotel based on incredible location and affordability. THE GOOD — Just steps away from the entrance of the Duomo metro station. About a minute more to get to the turnstiles. Incredible to see the cathedral just around the corner after you step out of the hotel — front-line staff was very helpful, especially Jimmy on the overnight shift who went out of his way to assist — the first night of the five-night stay in the hotel was unbearably hot with Milan in the grips of a heatwave (checked in too late and too exhausted to complain) but the air conditioning kicked in on the second day and was strong enough despite temps climbing to 35C — breakfast was plentiful with sausages, bacon and scrambled eggs as hot items. They’ll either make you a coffee or cappuccino. — clean, wasn’t noisy THE BAD — elevator was only big enough for two people, and only one person if there’s luggage. Also it was incredibly slow and quicker just to walk up the steps — single room was cramped but to be expected given if its affordability — no fridge or kettle in the room (reception was kind enough to offer me water but it was never clear to me whether it was just because they were charmed by my smile or if every guest can get a bottle of water if asked — you have to sit sideways on the toilet otherwise your knees will hit the sink THE UGLY — Showers are so small you have to step out of the stall to lather up otherwise you bang your elbows

We were very happy with our stay. Friendly staff, Great location. Hearty and fresh breakfast. Comfortable and clean room with nice A/C. The reason we gave it a 4 Star was that the hotel’s main telephone line was out of order. We had a late flight and would not be able to check-in until 12am the following day (check-in ends at 11:00 pm). We were not able to notify the hotel directly by the phone while waiting for our flight at the airport. We tried to message the hotel through Expedia website ourselves. It stated that sometimes it can take a few days for the host to respond the message. Finally we reached out to the Expedia agent. She was able to message the hotel directly about our situation. We learned our lesson. We just have to plan everything out ahead of time in the future.

Fantastic location. 3 minutes walk to Duomo plaza. Subway and bus stations are around. Shopping Centers are around. Stuff are extremely nice and responsive. Very safe with living in city center. I was very happy with staying here.

The property is right in the center of Milan a few steps away from the Milan Cathedral. The room might be small but it is clean and functional. The staff are friendly and helpful. They also serve a full breakfast which is wonderful. I highly recommend this place.

AVOID

Imagine walking into the dirtiest nail salon you can imagine, and there you go. A stiff bed, hard pillows, and a bathroom that's so small you have to sit side-saddle on the toilet because the sink placement prevents you from sitting properly. Additionally, please leave your keys with the front desk before exiting the hotel for the day. Skip this hotel and find something else; it's simply not worth it. Most hostels out there are better options.

Decently comfortable bed. The A/C blows directly on the bed. The bathroom is tight and shower head needs replaced. But clean and sufficient for a good night’s sleep, which is all I want in a solo hotel stay.
