Hostels are hit and miss, this is was a hit. Bed was really comfortable, toilets etc were fine. Inwouldnt hesitate to book this one, trust me it's fine.
The other guests made it feel a bit sketchy (I was there in October) and the air is bad in the rooms. But the beds are comfortable and have an individual light and charging points. There isnât a place to cook your own food, but a fridge and common room. The location isnât too bad! Trains run right beside so bring ear plugs.
- Friendly Staff
They need to have beds ready for all before hand as travels need rest
Spacious common area
Low cheap Coffee machine
Areas around the property is Walkable and close to trains so loud nosies
The place is very basic but is definitely worth the price you pay. It felt safe, comfortable and clean. The property overall is a little dated but doesn't cause any issues.
Staff were excellent with any queries I had and helped make me feel comfortable.
I would note you need to bring your own towels or you have a rent them. The power sockets are turned off in the common area around 10:30 and the only power you have at your bedside are USB A sockets so I would have brought more of them if I'd known. There are also no hand towels in the bathroom so maybe bring a small extra towel.
Overall, it's great if you're looking for a cheap and easy place to sleep.
This site is not conveniently located to the city. It was a 10 minute walk to the Metro but there were many men sitting around drinking near the Metro that made me concerned. It is over 2 miles to walk to the train. The neighborhood is blighted with massive graffiti all over.
