Chose this property due to its proximity to Milan Linate Airport as we had an early morning flight. Property was clean and staff were pleasant. Our stay was in the middle of an extreme heat wave and the AC would not cool our room. The hallways and lobby was cooler than our room. I went to the manager and he moved us to another room but it was no cooler. Regardless, we appreciated his attentiveness and willingness to help. The pool was nice as were the grounds around it. Do understand, the hotel charges a fee to use towels and chairs. The bar served great drinks. We did not eat at the restaurant. We were told at check in the restaurant closed at 230pm so we made our way there around 205pm. Staff told us the kitchen was already closed. We ended up eating vending machine sandwiches for lunch and ordered delivery pizza later that night. Overall, I would give this property 3 out of 5 stars due to lack of adequate AC.

We were checked into a room with holes in the carpet, dirty gray walls that should be white, black marks on the wall, and curtains that were starting to come apart,along with coming down from the ceiling. It seemed everything was an extra fee, including a bottle of water. As we inquired about breakfast or other options, we were told our room number didn't allow us to have access to breakfast. We paid for a shuttle for the next day to the airport. We stressed we had to leave right at 9 am to be on time. Our party along were two other groups were waiting for any staff to arrive to take us, thinking they would be there early a few minutes before 9 am to let us load our luggage. At five minutes till 9 am, we went into the front desk to ask if someone was coming because we needed to have time to make our flights, and we were told they would be there at 9 am. We were watching other visitors getting taxis and leave as we were waiting. Finally, after 9 am, a man came out from the front desk and unlocked the van. It seemed he was not pleased to have to be driving us to the airport. I will not recommend this hotel and will not return from another stay.

Suitable for transit, not for holiday

The hotel falls short in terms of cleanliness and overall quality. It fails to meet the standards expected of Novotel hotels. The rooms have a lingering cigarette odour, and the towels, which have an unpleasant vinegar smell, are not soft. During our stay, the swimming pool was out of order, and the gym was relatively small, lacking weights and functional machines. It becomes crowded by 6 am. While the breakfast was enjoyable, the options were limited, with no choices for egg-white omelettes or gluten-free bread and pancakes, and no sugar-free syrup was available. There are no coffee shops for quick snacks or coffee, and other dining options are nonexistent. The hotel is situated in a remote area, with no nearby shops or restaurants, and the surroundings have a neglected feel, making walking unsafe. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel for families on vacation, but it may be suitable for a quick transit stop.

I chose the hotel for proximity to the airport. In fact, it’s a 30 Euro cab ride each way, which is no bargain. The advertised shuttle service is extremely limited. For value and convenience, I would have been a lot better off staying in the center.
