Excellent Choice for a Modern Hotel in Great Local

We had a fabulous trip and stay in Mill Valley, at the Acqua Hotel. Really enjoyed the hotel, from the large and varied breakfast, spacious and comfortable room and great location that was close to everything we wanted to see. A short car ride to SFO Airport for flight.

It's a pretty good hotel. The close proximity to the Muir Woods and SF was very convenient for our family trip. However, it felt a bit short of my expectations. There were some minor issues and even with the free breakfast and parking, I didn't find it a good value based on the amount we paid.

The hotel is lovely. I have stayed there many times, always on the second floor. This time my room was on the first floor, and the noise from above and in the hallway outside the room was terrible. I will ask for a second floor room for future stays.

Very friendly staff, great wine choices for a complimentary happy hour in the evening, warm cookies when we returned from dinner, convenient 24 hour tea and coffee area, amazing free breakfast with a view…. And on and on. We stayed here and spent our time in Sausalito and then went on to San Francisco- the location of this hotel was very convenient. I would definitely stay here again.
Happy hour- free to pour for yourself. Cheese, fruits, and crackers.

It was a beautiful and unique property. The service was excellent, wine and charcuterie from 5-7 and breakfast in the morning until 10am. The rooms were clean and updated with a water view! The rooftop atrium was superb. Definitely a go to!

Lovely hotel with a very spacious room with everything we needed. Great breakfast included too! Only downside was that the hotel is right next to the highway which can be heard from your room if you a light sleeper.

Staff and facilities were excellent. Very good breakfast choices but some variation in hot foods offered would be appreciated. Main problem we had was that location of hotel next to highway makes it complicated to drive to and from other locations in Mill Valley.

The reception staff was too busy working on paperwork with another person to check us in. I almost never complain about my hotel stays, but we had high expectations for our stay based on site pictures and reviews.. (and the price point) This is an old hotel that is pretty clean, but not a place that I would stay again.

Staff was amazing, rooms were clean/nice and loved the little balconies. The view/sitting area out the back was nice as well. No restaurant or bar on property made it hard and the area wasnt one we wanted to go venture out.
