The front desk people were very nice and the lobby was fine. but our room was not great. it definitely needed a deep clean. There was a leak from the refrigerator running on the floor, you could tell this was originally an old hotel that they tried to improve but it just didn’t really work. At least the bed was fairly comfortable. The bedding was clean.

The property is steps away from a great walking trail and park, which hosts a wonderful market on Sundays. Other stores, including Trader Joe's, is a 4 minute walk from the property also. The staff was generally helpful but were sometimes a little too attached to their cell phones. The room was clean but did have somewhat of musty smell, but that could have been because it was next door to the laundry room and the humidity from the commercial machines could have been the contributor of the dampness smell.

Hotel is dated, but it's safe and a cheap place to spend the night. The room was acceptable (not the greatest beds, but good enough). If you're the type who likes to sit around in the hotel all day, this isn't the place for you, as there aren't any amenities, other than the free breakfast (they had oatmeal, sausage patties, cereal, mini muffins, waffles, and reconstituted scrambled eggs, and some other basic things. Good enough for a property of this type. The attendant did a nice job of keeping the dining area clean and the food stocked.). I would stay here again for the price I paid.

Only thing I liked was my mattress. Vending machine didn't work and seemed like they were never cleaned. Internet had such horrible access. I had no housekeeping at all during my 4 nights. I feel like this could've gone a lot better but since there was no bathroom fan and hand soap to wash my hands I was so irritated because Everytime I went number 2 I had to shut the door for like an hour. Hand soap not being available also is so ridiculous because every hotel should have hand soap. I dislike how breakfast is only served until 9 when I'm on vacation and don't usually expect to be up that early. Idk everything besides the hotel was my highlight of the vacation and I will not be coming to this hotel next time I go to Milwaukee.

Just okay. Hallwauss smelled.

Convenient location to go to ball game. It was just okay. The hallway had some funky smells. I checked in online and the staff evidently didn’t know how that worked when I got there. The person kept asking me for info I already had done online. Instead of grabbing the keys and going, it took a while. The room was okay and worked for our purposes. I’ve had better and I’ve had worse.

The staff deserves recognition for superior customer service from the desk clerk to the cleaning staff. Everyone was very friendly and the hotel was clean. I would stay there again.

It was definitely not as the picture nor previous responses painted it out to be. It was a older hotel, but the people on the night shift on Friday, the entire Saturday, and young lady Sunday made up for it. The breakfast was just ok, but as I said it was do able. Not the best part of Milwaukee, so do your research.

The exterior of the building is not great but everyone working at this hotel was friendly and helpful, and working to keep the place clean! My room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The bedding is not the best, but the location was very conveniently located to get onto the highway if you are travelling into Chicago. The expedia rate was very reasonable. I would definitely stay here again.
