This was Thanksgiving weekend. Everything but two items was superb. The two items:(1) for some reason a little girls' Irish dance competition was scheduled at this very elegant hotel property. They, and their families, were running around everywhere and clogging up all the lounges and other public areas, especially the lobby lounge. It made it rather not enjoyable for people like us who wanted to enjoy the elegance, have a nice, upscale holiday weekend with "riffraff". Totally the wrong time of year to have this large kiddie event. Especially since this is a top dollar hotel. (2)

My husband and I booked this hotel’s city-view room for our 13th anniversary, hoping for a quiet, romantic getaway. Unfortunately, our experience was the opposite. We were given an interior room that looked directly into other guest rooms, offering no view or privacy. The worst part was a loud party taking place on an upper floor; the music echoed down the stairwell and directly into our room, continuing until midnight. It completely disrupted our stay, and we felt deprived of the anniversary celebration we had planned. We shared our concerns with the front desk at checkout, but the staff member seemed indifferent, which was especially disappointing for a hotel that markets itself as a luxury property. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience
