great access to community dock, right down the road.Great kitchen and new outside deck. Bedrooms were a little tied, minimal furniture and older mattresses in guest bedrooms. Two large refrigerators for ample stuff. Minor issues were reported to owner and assumed they were taken care of.

A Great Escape!

We stayed at the house for about 5 days. Location was definitely rural. Our drive in was very scenic, farmlands and open plains and livestock. First impression was that the house was well appointed. Lots of amenities and board games. There was entertainment in most corners of the house. There is carpet on most of the floor spaces, could use a deep cleaning The kitchen all the utensils, pots, pans you will need. I do wish the stove has some form of extractor to reduce the smells within the house. The property management company provides dishwasher powder, sponge, and dish soap which was a nice touch. There are two grills outside, one charcoal as well as one gas. The gas grill is a flat top (plancha) . That could use a deep clean, we chose not to use it due to some oxidation on the surface. The rooms were abundant, spacious and pretty comfortable. Our dogs were also very happy being around here. Lots of windows to let them look out as well as allow a lot of natural light in. Being in more of a remote area, There is wildlife of all shapes and sizes. if you will be bringing in your furry friends, make sure they're up to date with their flea and tick treatments, we did discover a couple of ticks inside the house and we were unsure if they were there from the start or they got tracked in. The surrounding Lake Anna area is very scenic. The lake is big and beautiful, lots of hiking, exploration and decent location from other cities like Fredericksburg and Charlottesville.

Fun Weekend

Nice spot to host our Thanksgiving weekend. House was large enough for the 9 of us. Basement is fun for kids with games, ping pong and a movie screen. They had a popcorn maker but did not supply any packets for the machine. Tons of games and movies, we loved the outdoor fire pit. Our only complaint was the condition of the carpet up stairs, lots of stains, found several dishes and utensils that were not clean and the washing machine does not work. Despite that we would definitely stay here again

A great place for (fur) families!

This house had everything you could need for an awesome, stress free lake vacation. The kitchen is stocked with all the tools to make a nice meal, the bedrooms and living room are comfy, and there is plenty of room for dogs to stretch their legs outside. Plus, it's an easy walk to the lake. If the weather is uncooperative, there are lots of fun things to do inside, including some classic video games and a great movie screen down in the basement (with a pretty extensive dvd collection). We will be back!

Awesome weekend getaway opportunity

5 star on everything - the house was full of surprises! even after reading the description. i was already very excited but was even more after stepping into the place. the house has enough entertainment for young ones and older kids. PLUS — more rooms and sleeping arrangement combinations to accommodate kids preferences and ages. the cherry on the cake: when we wanted to go on a boat ride the property staff helped provide a few names! i would definitely recommend in a heartbeat

Fun location, recommend minor updates

We loved our stay here! The arcade game, grill, fire pit, projector screen, movie selection, and game selection were all fantastic. The basketball game and wifi password didn’t work unfortunately but those should be relatively simple fixes for the owners. The wifi password was on the router so that ended up being fine but the management company didn’t reply when I reached out about it. The place was clean and decently stocked. I’d recommend having some larger pots and pans and maybe a casserole/baking dish of some kind - there were a number available but nothing that could make a particularly large batch of anything. However, none of this would prevent us from staying here again! The checkin process was very easy and the beds were comfy with plenty of space for our group and even a couple more. Loved having a grill available and the fire pit too. Overall great location!

Nice Home Overall

The log home was overall very-good. The home's large windows and skylights create a pleasant atmosphere, particularly with a lot of wood wall board used inside. Spiral stairs to the loft is cool, but everyone has to be careful. The home feels smaller than the good pictures make it look. The fireplace is also very nice looking but blocks the kitchen area from Family room. Family room could use a recliner, couple of end tables and lamps. Bring a couple of flashlights to make it easier to get around after lights are out. Downstairs was great fun for all and we watch DVD on Projector BIG screen. Walk to the water is about 150 yds and pretty good hill down to water. Docks and large rocks/boulders around dock are looked great. Several picnic tables are available. Kids loved the Zip Line that's limited to 60lbs and Fire Pit. BTW, the garbage disposal switch is behind the Sink door. Took awhile to find it :)

Was advertised as a 10 person stay. We had only six and it was crowded in the living area. The listing made you think it was on the water at first glance and had to do some research to find it was not. The showers were slick and not designed for older people. Advertised a working fireplace, which did not work. Nice large yard and plenty of dvds and games for kids. Extra dog very expensive. Did not work well for our family of adults.

The lake house

Original key code was wrong. Property mgr corrected that. There was no internet service, so no live tv nor any streaming services could be used. Dishwasher spewed water on kitchen floor. Dishwasher and internet issues were reported promptly but neither was fixed. Basement shower is not functional. House has low water pressure. Living room lights flickered on and off. Bathtubs have no safety friction strips and carpet at bottom of stairs is a safety hazard.
