The hotel is right in downtown and close to the stadium, which is why we stayed. It's lovely in the lobby and the rooms are super nice and large. The front desk staff was nice, the room service was on time and friendly people, and the entire experience was great except for 1 thing. Originally we got a room on the 15th floor and after hours of flying, we just wanted to take a nap. The room was 74 degrees. We set it to 65 to cool off the room and tried to lay down. Three hours later the room was still 74 so we had to pack up and change rooms. Although that room was 70 degrees and much better, we tried to drop it to 68 at night but the A/C in the rooms must not be very powerful. It never made it past 69 degrees so on very hot days I'm not sure how cool the rooms would get.

The hotel is nice and conveniently located. Two downsides, though: it would be nice to be warned that if you don't scan and book a one-day parking pass upfront, you won't be able to do it afterwards. Otherwise, you have to pay a regular parking ticket. Also, there was only one person at the front desk when we arrived (peak check-in hour). He was super nice helping everyone, but there was a long line and front desk should be better staffed, especially when everyone's arriving.

What a great hotel! The location was perfect for accessing the metro to take to the mall/airport and only a short walk to target center and target field. The only negative for location was there wasn’t any restaurants in the immediate vicinity but it was just a short walk to breakfast options and only a little further for lunch/dinner. As far as the hotel goes it was super clean and the beds and pillows were some of the most comfortable I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. Be careful with heavy luggage though as there are stairs when you enter and then for where the room was, even more stairs! No one offered to help with our luggage on our arrival but the front desk guy did offer to help on the way out so that was nice. We stayed in a corner room and it was super spacious, plenty of storage and a huge bathroom with a separate shower/tub. There were plenty of outlets and motion sensor night lights around the room and also next to the bed which was a plus. TV was big and the only downside was there wasn’t a guide on the tv so you just had to scroll to find what to watch but not a big deal. The other downside was the room service for dinner; our order was messed up and it was crazy expensive considering the food was NOT good. But the breakfast downstairs was excellent so maybe it would have been better to have the dinner downstairs as well, but really not that big of a deal. Overall I would definitely stay there again!

Enjoyed our 3 nights in downtown Minneapolis at Hyatt Centric property. Room had nice, comfortable bed, very clean bathroom, bar and restaurant with access to various dining options via skywalk. If using restaurant on property, would not suggest asking for glass of water as you will be charged $3/glass. That was a surprise in our billing.
