WOW!!!! Our stay here was over the top. The place was beautiful. We had plenty of room. We loved that everybody had a bedroom and bathroom. Plenty of room and plenty of kitchen space. The backyard was awesome. The pool was great as well. We will be staying here again.

Everything was clean and worked well. There were 22 of us including 12 kids from 3-17. There were a few items from the kitchen missing that would have been nice to have I.e. can opener, tongs, kitchen shears or regular scissors. Other than that, there was everything we needed in the kitchen. Fully stocked. We used the crock pot, griddle, the pans, but we mostly used paper products for plates, bowls, cups and utensils. We had an issue turning on the fire pit in the back yard but someone was sent right away to help us figure it out. It was nice to have an alarm on the door to the pool since we had some young children. We decided to have everyone do 10 pushups if they forgot to push the button to deactivate the alarm before they opened the door. The kids loved that ha! The only other thing I would say is that the photos do not exactly represent the house and amenities. There was not a golf cart, there are no rooms with two beds in them and the house comes with two rental chairs for and one umbrella for the beach- not four chairs. We got missed messages from both the rental company and the property manager about that. Also Granger’s beach is a private beach so no tents are allowed.

Perfect for a large group

Get Your Sun was perfect for our group's stay! It was beautiful and there was plenty of room for all of us without feeling cramped. The beach was a nice short walk and the pool was so pleasant to get into at our leisure.

We had 9 adults and 3 kiddos, and had so much room! It was such an easy 5 minute walk to the beach. The pool area was nice, with lots of seating. The kiddos loved it! We tried to light the outdoor fire pit, but it was broken. The maintenance guy came out the next day, agreed it was broken but could still be lit using a long lighter. We didn’t try it, but they acted like they would be ordering a part to correct the problem for future guests. The only complaint we had was lack of kitchen equipment. There was not a can opener, nor any grilling utensils. There was only one dish rag and one hot pad. There were plenty of dishes, silverware and bathroom towels! The home was very comfortable! We would definitely recommend this vacation home and stay there again. Thanks for a wonderful week at your beautiful home!

Perfect House & Location

We had 22 people. 10 adults and 12 kids ages 1-13. Beautiful backyard/pool area. You can walk to souvenir shops, coffee place, beach! 3 floors so heavy suitcases can be a challenge to get up 3 floors!! We would definitely rent this place again!!

Great place and within walking distance of the beach

This property is located next to other rental properties. The three floors with multiple rooms with connected bathrooms worked great for our eight adults and nine kids. There were multiple places throughout the house where adults could hang out as well as kids could hang out during down time. The pool and hot tub wore a big hit. The control for the hot tub is inside the house. As others have mentioned, there is a button you need to press every time you exit out the back door which is a safety feature for younger kids. It will throw you off at first, but you will get used to it. The location is an easy walk from the beach. The included umbrella and two chair setup on the beach was a nice touch. Our blender broke while we were there. I contacted the property manager and he promptly was able to deliver a new blender. The property was nice and clean.

Great place!

Our group had a great time staying at Get Your Sun.... Home is very clean and spacious, just a few blocks from the beach in a nice neighborhood. It was nice that our group of 4 couples and 2 singles could all have king bedrooms and their own bathrooms (and we did not need to use the queen bunk area, though it's a nice space if you have extra people). The kitchen is nicely stocked, and I was impressed with the amount of plates, bowls, flatware, glasses, coffee cups, etc., each at least 15 or 20+, that made it easy to eat in without having to continually wash dishes or run the dishwasher. There's also a separate ice maker that made plenty and was nice for drinks. The outdoor pool and hot tub spa area are really nice as well, and though close to adjacent houses, it's fenced in and feels private. We did pay the additional fee to heat the pool, and though that is a bit of a pricey option it was definitely worth it overall, and we enjoyed 2 full days just lounging outside and swimming. There's an outdoor fridge in the grill station which was convenient for keeping drinks cool during pool time. Would definitely recommend!

House is nice, layout is good but a beach house should supply beach towels. Travelers are flying and don’t have room to bring towels for 12 people! Simple fix. Also supply a step stool or ladder as the house must have been set up for basketball players! And fire pit didn’t work. The beach set up sucks! They set all these chairs and umbrellas at the edge of the beach so close together that you can’t have your group together and half of the people aren’t even at the beach! And sorry but 2 chairs for a house that sleeps 24? I understand having a set up but should be set up as you come to the beach, don’t monopolize the beach with empty chairs! The steps and setup make trips to the beach difficult which is why most people visit Destin.

Great stay for all ages

House was very well-maintained, clean, plenty of space for 17 of us. Location was great, very easy working with the property manager before and during the stay. Loved having the beach chair service included! Would have been nice if some beach towels, pool toys, board games were included as we had to bring from home / buy once we got there. Definitely recommend this property!

Amazing house!

This house was so beautiful and so clean! There was a ton of space for all of us (9 total) and we definitely could have fit more. The pool was heated perfectly. We had private access to the beach which was so nice and just a short walk from the house. Definitely would come back and recommend to friends!

Beautiful and Comfortable

This was a business retreat for a large group of women. It was awesome; close enough to the beach to walk a few minutes. The bedding is so comfortable (I want to know the name of the mattress) lol It was extremely clean, comfy, and beautiful. Highly reccomend.
