Not worth the price
Hotel over all is nice. Cons- EVERYTHING is ridiculously overpriced, they charge a $100 incidental charge PER DAY, so right at check in they charged my card $400 which of course is refundable. They also charge a $40 a day resort fee, when I asked what is was for I was told it was instead of paying for parking “and things like that” they just lump it all into one charge…we flew here. The outdoor pool closes at 11 which is fine but they also kick you off the deck. So you can even sit outside and relax unless you go out to the actual beach. The deck is massive, and I understand if people are being loud but they came and kicked my 12 year old daughter and I off the deck for sitting in a chair listening to the waves and talking about the stars. Bartenders at the outdoor bar are rude and the drinks were terrible quality. Beds are mediocre and bedding is even worse. Beach gets so crowded and so much space is taken up by the beach chair service and more than half just sit empty. Pros- Nice rooms, kids loved the bunkbeds. Starbucks on site. Lots of dining options, free tram to Baytown Warf.
