This one-bedroom condo offers lovely, unobstructed views of the Gulf of Mexico. The resort offers guests heated indoor/outdoor pools, 2 spas, a large fitness center, 2,000 square feet of beachfront access just across the street, an 18-hole championship golf course, tennis/pickleball courts, nature trail, freshwater lakes (fishing permitted), a beachside bar and grill, and so much more.

ACCOMODATIONS:
The property that we call Costa del Mar is a lovely one bedroom, 1 ½ bathroom 4th floor condo that features 940 sq ft of living space and includes a king bed master, a queen sofa bed in the living room, and one set of twin bunk beds flush with the hall. This allows for six guests to be accommodated comfortably and comes complete with a full-size kitchen, washer/dryer, and a private, furnished balcony offering gulf front views of the sugary white sand beaches. Enjoy the complimentary high-speed internet access, premium cable channels, and DVD player.

Majestic Sun is smoke-free, with smoking and chewing tobacco prohibited in all common areas, including the garage, walkways, pools, spa, pool decks, and balconies.

Our stay was great. The only thing that was a negative for us was the smell around the lower part of the building, like a really strong mold smell around the underbuilding garage. And no place to rinse your feet late in the evening if you walk on the beach as they lock up the area by the pool. Other than that it was great and we enjoyed our stay.

Location was very important to us because we either like to be on the beach or super close to it.

The view from this property is one of the best views we have had so far which was a must for us. We aren’t too picky about the inside as long as it is clean. We like to be walking distance to the beach and have view of the beach from our condo so if you are the same I definitely recommend this condo.

Loved the location! Close to restaurants and beach rentals. Really handy having a souvenir/shirt store located below. The view was fantastic. We had morning coffee out there each day. I parked my car and never drove the entire time. It could use updated furniture, but it worked great for our group. Would definitely stay here again.

The view from this property is spectacular. Overall the condo was great, could use some updating. Great location. The only real issue was the unit was very damp, could use a de-humidifier.

Great location!

The condo is in a great location right across from the beach with a perfect view. We were walking distance to a few restaurants and shops which was great. The condo itself is a bit outdated but still comfortable. I do recommend replacing the mattress in the bedroom. It was so uncomfortable with a big dip in the middle. Other than that I recommend this property.

Fantastic property and even though a 1 bedroom place certainly has enough for a family of 4 and 6 at a push with the sofa bed. Property was clean and all the facilities needed for our stay. The Location is to die for with beautiful balcony views of the Gulf. Just 2 observations that may be of use: Couldn’t find an information book for local attractions etc and procedures though, we had been to Majestic Sun before so didn’t need it but would be useful for a first time visitor. The bed is the softest and whilst comfortable the dip in the middle makes it feel like you are climbing a mountain to roll over or get out lol. Thanks we will be back to Destin from England hopefully soon

The room was good for a short stay. Cons: old/ outdated furniture, rooms need painting, entire unit and bathroom in hall need a DEEP clean! Comforter did not appear clean. I bring my own anyway. Sofa pull out is not comfortable option for sleep, beeping noise all night behind the bunk bed wall made impossible to sleep well. I assume it was the hot water heater. Pros: ideal for beach and pool access. It was nice to be able to check in a little early! Master bed is comfortable! View is great 👍 location is ideal

Beautiful View / Horrible Building Issues

Elevators never worked, and when they were working, they would stop with people stuck on them for 30+ minutes. Appliances way out of date, and didn't work very well.
