The pre and during communication with the property manager made this place even better. She was so responsive and full of information. The location is great and the cottage is charming!
The house was exactly as shown. The fenced yard was great to sit in - shade most of the day, on a quiet street and comfortable chairs. The kitchen was well-stocked, the bed comfortable. The location close to the bike path and numerous restaurants was perfect! There was a dog park nearby that was great for our dog.It was a bit concerning that we said ahead of time we were bringing a dog, yet when we arrived there was a bill for the stay for the dog. We understood that all costs were paid ahead of time and paid through VRBO.Loved the colors in the kitchen! The fridge was totally unique!
Heydukeâs Hideout was an awesome base camp for our little group (single mom and 2 teens). I went out and did my hikes while the kids mostly stayed in town and walked around to see art, rock shop, go to the bookstore and the cafesâŠwe all got what we needed! We were pleasantly surprised to find they had added a TV and the fireplace was so cozy! We would bring a few thick blankets or a rug to sit in front of the fire with, if we booked again. The kitchen had what we needed (and we cooked a good bit), they had ice ready in the freezer for a cocktail, For the price, you canât beat this place!
The location was very convenient to both parks and very walkable to downtown shops. Host responded quickly to a sink clog issue. Coffee would have been appreciated. Kitchen is well stocked otherwise. As two single ladies we would have felt safer with a deadbolt on the front door. Also there were sandbags to climb over to get through the gate and front door (I only mention this because it could be difficult for a not so mobile person.)
Absolutely loved this place. Awesome location, well appointed, great beds, loved just sitting under the trees. Will be back for sure.
The only thing I would change would be to get rid of the TV. One of the reasons we booked this house was the lack of TV as a selling point in the advertising description. It is just a distraction makes it a little harder to disconnect for those who are media junkies.
We were only able to stay 1 night but the rental is located in a great location, walking distance to downtown Moab. Very clean and comfortable, would stay again.
Super cute property that is just minutes from downtown Moab. We stayed during the off season and it was very quiet even though itâs close to several businesses. Easy access to several hikes and the host left treats for our pup!!!
We had a great stay at Hayduke's. It was clean and well stocked. The beds were comfortable. We were able to walk to dining and shops. We took window coverings based on a prior review and were glad that we did. Would rent again.
The place was clean and tidy. Nice location for walking to downtown activities. This did come with a price of being a bit noisy at night and again in the morning. I would stay there again
The house is excellently located. There are many great restaurants within walking distance but it tucked away from busy streets. The home is a quaint house and has lots of potential!
A few negatives would be:
There was a toaster oven but no microwave which was listed on the amenities page.
There are no blinds or curtains that provide privacy. Only thin gauzy curtains are set up. A neighbor has good sight line into the home and was outside often. Also the sun through the windows meant no sleeping in.
There were ba lot of boxelder bugs in the ehome. e Therewas a wasp nest outside the home which rendered an otherwise a nice yard space unusable.
Bogies bungalow was the perfect place for us! Just the right size for the two of us. Itâs very cute, the little kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for the three days We were there, the bed was very comfortable, and itâs only a block from town. I would recommend this to friends in a heartbeat.
