This is a great place to stay, particularly for those needing trailer parking. Tons of space for our two trucks, trailers, and jeeps. The house is spacious, clean, and was overall a good experience.
Loved the location and all the views from the property. the inside was updated, super clean and trendy. Loved the hot tub....also new. Will stay here again.
Stayed at the Shack for a week of UTV riding in Moab. The house was set up perfectly for our needs (tons of trailer parking, hoses for machine washes). These hosts are super responsive and professional with a focus on the details which make a difference to guests. We have traveled and stayed at properties around the country and this ranks as one of the best!
Awesome place to stay, very clean, felt comfortable in the neighborhood with having our expensive machines left outside while not there. Only wish the rates didnât increase so we could come back again.
This place was a little smaller than what our group typically rents, but seemed to still fit us perfectly! It was beautifully maintained and parking was perfect for us. I would recommend this to any small groups who enjoy any outdoor activities! It is perfectly situated in close proximity to all of the trails, without the hustle and bustle of downtown!
Although we didn't end up using it, originally chose this property because it had an RV hook up in addition to the house with ample parking for vehicles, trailers, OHVs. It had everything necessary including basic kitchen seasonings and was so easy to settle in! A++++ Recommended and will likely book here again!!
We were a group of 3 families traveling with a larger group for an offroading adventure around Moab. We had a total of 4 trailers in our group. We were able to park them all together. Very quiet neighborhood. Perfect for our needs.
Plenty of towels (and good ones at that), bedding, plates, cups, wine glasses, silverware, knives, etc.
Great parking even for trailers.
could use a little better pans.
I really enjoyed the place. The pros are that you get a large property which is great for a trailer and side by side. The jacuzzi was great and the guy showed up during our stay to clean it which was nice. The washer and dryer is a great for washing things that get dirty while in the outdoors. The cable channels were excellent, the beds were comfortable and it is very peaceful.
The cons is the location is far from town therefore you have to drive into town in order to get to restaurant. You would wear down your tires on a side by side, so we had to unhook our trailer and go into town by truck. The house does need a deep clean, the bathrooms did have hair and things in the corners and the toilet in guest room still had urine on it. The master bathroom does smell like septic after taking a shower to the point I would shut the restroom door and open the window. You can expect this because of location and being so remote, I am sure that is an easy fix.
I will be staying here again. This place is adorable and feels very warm inside.
This property was absolutely amazing. We came from PA for a week of off-roading and adventures. We came into town late at night and couldnât see much of anything, however we woke up to stunning views. The front of the house faces the La sal mountains that were freshly snow covered during our visit. The back yard faces the skyline of the sandstone hills of Moab. The house had everything we needed for our trip and was a great place to relax and recover between adventures. The hot tub was one of our biggest highlights and was very clean. Overall we had no issues at this rental and will likely be booking it again next year.
We loved our stay at the shack! The host Kali was quick at responding, the house was so spacious inside and clean, and the hot tub was nice to relax in at night. The property had plenty of space to park our cars, dirt bikes, razors etc. It is a little south out of town, but was quiet and near Kens Lake for fishing and paddle boarding. Just wish the freezer made ice, so be sure to pick up some of your own. We will definitely be coming back!
We have stayed in a few vrbo's and most of them don't come stocked well enough this place had plenty of towels access to a washer and dryer. Plenty of toiletries. It was very clean and set up just like any very nice hotel. The property manager was very quick to respond and very great to work with. The area doesn't have a lot of traffic so that is nice. Tons of space to park trailers when you bring your side by sides or ATVs or Jeeps. We plan to stay here again when we make a trip down to Moab.
