This place exceeded all expectations and the pictures don't do it justice. Incredible and relaxing property with lots of room to spread out. Very well stocked kitchen with a spare fridge in the garage. Lovely outdoor spaces with lots of sitting areas and a propane fire pit. Everyone was very comfortable and we were wishing we had booked a longer stay. The property management company was a dream to work with and were very communicative Would definitely return to this fabulous property!

The Hobbit House / Rivendell

This house worked well for 4 guys on a golfing / wine tasting trip to the Russian River & Healdsburg. Lots of room inside & outside on the decks. We grilled one night on the deck enjoying the flowing river and peaceful ambiance. We will definitely be returning to Rivendell.

Second Time Stay

Brought a different group of friends for a long weekend stay this time! Three days spent relaxing on the patios watching the river, kayaking, making and eating great food, and enjoying all the great ammenities Rivendell has to offer. The perfect house for a laid back, rejuvinating escape.

Great Stay

Rivendell had great location on the river. The dock and kayaks were a highlight. The home was clean and the kitchen was well appointed with everything you could need. High quality appliances. We had an issue with the TV and the property managers were very helpful in getting it resolved. Screen doors to the patio would be appreciated to allow for a breeze to circulate the house as it’s quite warm in the afternoon. A very relaxing and comfortable home to spend time with family on the river :-)

Great house on the river

This was one of the nicest houses we ever stayed at. Plenty of room for everyone and all of the furnishings were well thought out and extremely comfortable. Would definitely want to stay there again during our next trip to the Russian River area.

Girls weekend

Great location for different things to do close to a lot of things beach trip shopping food. Spacious usually accommodate six people. Definitely would go again.

Perfect for a Getaway Weekend

This property exceeded our expectations. Very clean, comfortable beds, the living room had plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen met everyone's needs and my friends like to cook! The home and property is well maintained and you can tell it has been upgraded over time. The location and views were wonderful. I wish it didn’t rain the weekend we visited because the outdoor decks looked perfect for hanging and enjoying the fresh air and views of the river. However, every room inside had a great view and plenty of space for us all to kick back and relax on our girls getaway weekend. The hot tub gazebo was a bonus. All of us agreed this place is worth a return visit to the area, and for more than just a weekend. Shout out to the attentive staff who communicated with me in a timely manner to make sure we had directions to the home and if we needed anything during our stay. Pay attention to the recommendation to make sure you have the written directions with you. Your GPS will be confused and basically useless in the canyons and tall redwood trees. We enjoyed the scenic tour and once we stopped for directions to get our bearings we found the home easily.

Second Honeymoon/20th Anniversary

My husband and I were able to get away without kiddos for the first time in 20 years. This home was so peaceful and lovely. The bedrooms were all cozy and with great views - it was hard to pick which one to stay in! The home is well appointed and very clean. The hot tub works, is clean, and is well situated in a private gazebo, we were able to enjoy it even though it rained our whole trip. My husband even took up the ukulele since there was one at the house. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we would love to return!

river front escape

The house was charming, lots of private and communal space, perfect location to celebrate a friends birthday. Made use of the kayaks, hot tub, fire pit and outdoor eating area. Most well equipped kitchen I have even seen, every possible appliance, tool and necessities' that you don't want to have to buy at the store (tin foil, Tupperware, baggies, condiments etc). Comfy beds and towels!

Girls Wedding Plan Break

Nice place to spread out with just 6 of us. Would be nice if a couple rooms had two single beds and maybe an extra half bath. Super great property we sat in every setting, on every level. Would absolutely go back and stay. Super great property.
