Ugh, where do I even begin?! My family and I just got back from the most disappointing vacation at the "Paradise" All-Inclusive Resort, and I'm still fuming about the whole experience. Let me tell you, the food was ABSOLUTE GARBAGE. I'm not even exaggerating. We're talking lukewarm buffets with mystery meat, soggy pizza that's been sitting out for hours, and "gourmet" restaurants that served up bland, uninspired dishes. And don't even get me started on the "signature" cocktails that tasted like they were made with bottom-shelf liquor. I'm not a picky eater, but even I was grossed out by the lack of quality and variety. And it's not like we were expecting Michelin-star cuisine or anything, but come on, this is an all-inclusive resort! You'd think they'd at least try to serve up some decent grub. But nope, the food was a total disaster. And the worst part is, we paid top dollar for this "luxury" vacation. I'm talking thousands of dollars, folks. Thousands. Needless to say, I would NOT recommend this resort to my worst enemy. The food is a total deal-breaker, and the whole experience was just a huge letdown. Save your money, people. Trust me, you won't be missing out on anything. One star from me, and that's being generous.

The property is nice and has a good amount of activities. I did not like that there was no lotion in my room. Housekeeping informed me that they no longer supply lotion and it is given upon request. I also did not like having to request for replenishment on body wash and hand wash 3 to 4 times after having waited 30 minuties for housekeeping to come and replenish. An all inclusive hotel should have the basic, common things aa such already in the rooms. It is nice that the room has a bar and your refrigerator is stocked daily with water, soda, beer. Coffee is also replenished daily!!!! I love that coconut water is included in our package; the men dressed in green will chop it so you can consume right out of the coconut!

The family room was not as described, was supposed to be 1 1/2 bathrooms, but ended up being a total inconvenience with the toilet without a sink in one part and a shower and sink without a toilet. So if one is using the toilet and one is in the shower there’s no where for the toilet user to wash their hands

On a positive note, I was upgraded to an ocean front room. The deadbolt did not work. When reported, they said they would have someone fix it right away. I checked out and it still was not functioning. All inclusive resort did not have service. All eating and drinking was self serve. The restaurants could only be booked through the app. Restaurants were closed or unavailable. After discussing this with the management staff there was no resolution. So, be prepared to consume all your meals at the buffet…when they’re open.

We arrived on Sunday. The room had a mold and extreme cleaning chemical smell (possibly to hide the mold??). Note: we only got our room at 6pm! We told the front desk staff and they checked and agreed but advised that no rooms were available. They moved us to a room for the night temporarily on the other side of the hotel (a 1.5 hours process). The next morning we had to return the room keys and leave our stuff in the locker and wait for a new room which was not ready till 4pm. So we basically had 2 days without a room. Upon return, we contacted Expedia who advised that the hotel is refusing to provide any compensation for this inconvenience which has left a bitter taste.. Moving on: Food Quality: Great food selection and great quality. Beach: Good beach though it's narrower than your typical beaches in Cuba / Dominican, etc. Customer Service: Very poor whether it was dealing with the above issue or just general service at various places in the resort. Food / Bar service: Poor. We never ended up getting the same drink throughout our stay. Every different bar / bartender would make drinks based on their own taste and there was a lot of inconsistency. Rooms: Definitely not 5-star quality! The rooms were more comparable to a 3-star room. Not very clean, new, no separate body wash / shampoo, no lotion and old furniture.

The resort is nice. My main complaint is that everything shuts down at 6PM. The pools have lights on but are not in use, the beach is closed completely, and the only events are the nightly entertainment that only lasts a couple hours. A less major complaint would be that the room cleaning happens inconsistently and at random times throughout the day.

Beds are uncomfortable and sheets need to be replaced with new ones. We had two rooms and both had the same issue. Everything else was great. Good food excellent and excellent entertainment at night. Location is great if you want to tour local spots. Overall good stay. Would recommend.
