My room had ants I took photos and videos I spent all day the second day escalating the issue , because the ants had gotten in my children’s clothes . They did end up switching my room but the headache that came with it was a lot !

My stay at Moon Palace, Jamaica was absolutely fantastic! It was a pleasant experience. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, the surroundings were very clean and the food was simply divine. The only small hiccup was that the Jacuzzis were out of order.

Moon Palace shows as a VIP hotel on Expedia. I spent over $2600 for 3 rooms for 2 days and was told as a VIP member, each room would get resort credit of $150. We arrived at the hotel and the process of inquiring about resort credit was arduous. Folks kept sending me from one person to another. I had a more expensive room, but less amenities than the other rooms. I had no washcloths, water, rugs, or treats like the other rooms. The hotel was full of people trying to upsell you as if we didn't already spend a lot of money to be there. I was not able to book the spa. The buffet was great. Great choice of Jamaican food. We were encouraged to try one of the special restaurants so we made reservations for Pier 8. Pier 8 was awful. Dry, unseasoned food and small portions. We went back to the buffet that same night to re-do dinner. Overall, average stay for expensive price.

Moon Palace has always been a well kept property. Refreshing ambience and friendly atmosphere. Finally got to use my resort credit and they had a decent selection of items. One of the better trips we’ve had.

Check in process took very long. We had 2 reservations through Expedia for 2 consecutive days and it was a mess consolidating resort credits etc. We not able to use the resort credits since everything that can be bought through credits was either not available or extremely expensive with 16% tax. The stay and property were good.

Check in was insane. Waited in line for 30 min to be told to come back when room ready and stand back inline for another 30 to get the room assignment. Once at the room it was a king bed when double requested and floors were dirty. It was the last room at the exit of the floor. It had bad energy. We had to be moved to another room.

I loved the experience from getting to the main gate to check in. Luggage was taken, a warm towel provided and complimentary drinks offered. I would definitely be staying again!!!!
