Very pricy for the amenities. I was expecting free bottles of water at that price. Also we upgraded to a better room with added fees to find out they overextended the offer to more people than they had rooms. We were not charged for it but were expecting it after we committed to added charges.

Lovely Place

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this clean, very attractive property. Pool and patio areas were lovely, as were the lobby and restaurant. Loved the beautiful landscaping and decor! Our room was clean and in great condition, although I'm not a fan of sliding barn doors for bathrooms which ours had. Our room overlooked the pool area and the music there was kept a little too loud at times - we could hear it all too well in our room. But overall, a beautiful place that we would definitely stay again! Short walk to many shops and restaurants which was a bonus!

We loved the pool and hot tub, and the location was perfect. However, there was a stain on the bench when we arrived and I promptly contacted the front desk. Sadly the staff appeared annoyed and was very short with me. When we came back from our daytime activities, the floor was filthy. I felt like I was in a Motel 6 that had been furnished by Wayfair; with peel and stick on wallpaper in the bathroom. The quality of the furnishings were about as durable as lawn decorations you'd buy at Spirit Halloween, and I could've looked past that had they had coffee in the lobby, or complimentary breakfast. It really felt like they were cutting costs and corners anyway they could. I expected better in Carmel.
