Loved the breakfast parfait! Just make sure what floor you are on… good exercise but a lot of stairs… my husband says don’t hit your head on unsuspected ceilings when you’re on the third floor!

We stayed in a one bedroom queen room with patio access. It was pretty basic and could use an upgrade. I went with a friend so we needed two beds. They said the sofa in the living area was additional sleeping, but it was a hard futon couch that opened to a single size bed with a groove down the middle, not comfortable at all. The bedroom was fine, The rooms were a bit stuffy and stale, the outdoor seating area looked tacky with little effort put into the upkeep of the chairs and tables. The fireplace was nice and the location is perfect. Staff are friendly, courteous and professional. Yogurt parfaits are great, but the pastries were just so-so. Most likely won't stay here again.

It’s a nice experience to live in a historic building, feeling like a guest staying at a relative’s house. It’s very safe to walk around at night. It’s very convenient of going to the beach, dining and shopping. Parking is easy too.

Charming

First stay at the Centrella. The cottage was charming, spacious and comfortable with everything you need. Breakfast was yummy and location, location, location. You are centrally located near Lighthouse Ave for restaurants and shopping, a short walk to Lovers Point and the beach and about a 20 minute walk to Cannery Row and the aquarium. Great spot. Will be back.

A nice quiet stay in Pacific Grove

We had a great 4 night stay. It’s an older building but beautifully maintained. It was very clean. It was only a 1 block walk from shopping and restaurants and very quiet. The breakfast was only bagels and muffins, etc. but the fruit and yogurt parfait was nice.

This hotel is an amazing experience. To start they have a wonderful staff. We loved Jason at the front desk that was there to awnser all my questions. Happy hour wine at five pm is a must attend, as well as continitual breakfast. Highlights pm chocolate chip cookie and coffee am parfait with fresh fruit. On the to work on note they do not have a microwave or fridge in the room we stayed. The room was the number two room facing the front of hotel and was very hot. We did not know before we left for dinner they had no ac in the room. Just a big fan in the wardrobe. Phones did not charge on every plug/few plugs in room. And heater they said worked but took 30 minutes to work never worked for us. Parking was unbearable and some guests arrived late blocked us in, only Street parking. eventently the next am when everyone was eating out we snagged a premo spot. I would never stay with kids because or noise, no wall insulation but for adults it's a B+

Amazing Staff & Beautiful Quaint Hotel

We stayed here for our son’s wedding. We absolutely loved this quaint hotel. The staff was amazing! We had 2 different bakeries drop off cookies and the wedding cake. The staff made sure to notify me when they arrived and kept them safe until we returned from our daily adventures. We loved the fact that you could walk to Lover’s Point, Monterey, shops and restaurants. We will definitely be back! The community of Pacific Grove was perfect! The flowers and succulents were beautiful. Cannot say enough about this hotel and area!

The property is old but really nice. Nice view from the window! It is a bit noisy but this is something to take into account considering the age of the hotel. The yogurt for breakfast is nice the pastries not the best.

My wife and I stayed at this lovely property. It’s 5-10 minute walk to the ocean in one direction and sane walk other direction to so many restaurants and shop. Parking was ok. Free breakfast is good. They also have cookies and wine at 5. We didn’t have wine, but cookies are good. Definitely will come again
