Staff at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. We were offered a choice of which floor we'd like, which was great! Our room was quiet and clean with very comfortable beds. The only issue was the tub drain which was very slow--we found huge clumps of hair clogging the flow of water, which was unpleasant. Once we extracted the hair, the problem was pretty much resolved. We'd suggest that housekeeping check the drain for hair build-up so guests don't have to dig out past guests' hair clumps. We enjoyed a nice breakfast that included: waffles, eggs, sausages, fruit, cereals and other options. The inn was conveniently located near restaurants and shopping centers. We were pleased with the accommodation and would stay here again in the future.

The staff was lacking customer service. When I booked the room, I thought I was getting a suite since that’s what was in the description of the room and it ended up being a standard room. It was a a little bit bigger but not what was advertised. And when we finally got into our room, there were stains on the comforter on both beds. The curtains were dirty and stained. There were a layer of dust on the bed frame. And the breakfast that was included was VERY minimal.

We had a great stay at the Comfort Inn Marina on the Monterey Bay. The room was clean and the staff were very friendly. We didn’t use the amenities such as the sauna, but the location was excellent, close to the dunes and very convenient. I only wish the breakfast had offered more healthy options, such as fresh fruit or hard-boiled eggs. Otherwise, it was a great stay for my family, and we would definitely recommend it.
