Nice place a couple of blocks up from Cannery row. Our room had some street noise as it faced the street. Request be in the back. Breakfast and afternoon reception was good.

We had a lovely stay, the inn is in a great location, the room we had was big and comfortable. Breakfast was nice and we also enjoyed the wine and cheese in the afternoons - I especially liked the lemonade they served then aswell.

Rooms were very tidy, and clean. Staff were very friendly as well. Our room had a broken heating system and it was unable to be fixed during out stay. However the staff provided blankets and a space heater so we could be comfortable. 10/10 would visit again!

Everything about The Victorian Inn is exceptional. The staff was friendly and efficient. The room was cozy, clean and very comfortable. The perks of continental breakfast and wine/cheese happy hour were much appreciated. When we visit Monterey, this will always be our first choice for places to stay.

We’ve stayed here multiple occasions and keep coming back. Location is great, we have small children and like to go to the aquarium. Lots of food options close by. Their breakfast is great and wine with cheese and crackers daily is a bonus! Place is older and updated but kept clean

Excellent place to stay. Cannery Row is a short 3 block walk and the aquarium is a 10 minute walk. The room was comfortable and we really enjoyed the gas fireplace. Breakfast is adequate but not a lot of choice. The wine and cheese in the afternoon is satisfactory. I would definitely stay here again.

Check in is at 4 and we arrived in Monterey at 11:00 am, so we went directly to the Aquarium. We had a marvelous time and then back tracked to the hotel. It was difficult to navigate due to the one way streets, and our room wasn't ready at 2:00. Staff was not particularly friendly.. So we went to Fisherman's Wharf and walked around. We got a text later and was greeted warmly on return.
