no recomiendo este hotel.

La verdad para lo que vale deberian de cambiar el precio, espero no volver mas a este hotel. La cama pedi una de 2 plazas y son 2 camas de 1 plaza juntas, en el medio se hunde, deberian de probarla el gerente para que vea lo incomodo que es, imposible dormir, fui a buscar el acolchado y era de 1 plaza, osea que no es de 2 plazas, imposible dormir, la tv tiene 2 controles y no funciona, no habia cable para ver, el control remoto del aire acondicionado sin pilas, la verdad el precio que pague par lo que ofrecen es caro, muy caro.

Comfortable modern hotel

It's a very nice and clean modern hotel. The pool gets a bit easily shaded away from the sunlight during most of the day due to the structure and there is a car park just behind it from where the headline picture is taken. The rooms were very comfortable and the staff are lovely. Breakfast is probably the best and most generous one I had during my trip. Carrasco (walkable) is a very safe if a bit characterless well-to-do area about 10 mins walk along the coast.

Disappointing experience

I chose this place due to the amazing location. Unfortunately, service and cleanliness were subpar. My allergies were killing me, and then I found out why: there were cats sleeping on the “clean” bedding and towels. One of the cats was roaming on the breakfast area and even on the table. room service didn’t refill supplies, barely tidied up the beds. Won’t go back.

I would never stay at this hotel again. When we checked in the adjoining room door was unlocked to the next room. I locked it back. In the middle of the night some stranger came bursting through the door (luckily my suitcase was up against the door). We stayed 2 nights. On the 2nd day we never got housekeeping services. Finally around 3pm I asked the front desk person if we could get our room cleaned. He assured me it would be cleaned. A couple of hours later we were in the breakfast room playing cards and the front desk person told me that the housekeeper had become ill and had to leave - thus our room would not be cleaned - but he did offer to give us clean towels. The thing that amazed me the most is that the entire time we were in the breakfast room playing cards the front desk person sat there and ate while watching soccer! He is allergic or above cleaning a room?? The beds in this hotel make dorm room beds look like a double king sized bed. The phone rang nonstop for no reason - when we tried to answer it, there was just a dead phone line. We borrowed a wine opener from the front desk (after the front desk person said, "What? You don't have one?" Imagine the shock when the same front desk person knocked on my door at 9:30pm (!) to get the wine opener back! I guess they only have 1 at hotel? The breakfast was terrible - a million people in a tiny cramped room (even though they ask that you confirm a time to dine) - the food was terrible and it was filthy.

This is out go-to hotel in Montevideo, especially before and after a journey abroad. Excellent staff, great breakfast, always attentive to your needs.
