Hotel St Paul is just a really nice hotel. Didn't seem like a ton of amenities, but we really only slept there. The rest of our time in Montreal was spent sightseeing and dining.

The location is excellent and the building looks beautiful from the outside. The room was spacious with high ceilings and very quiet, which I did appreciate. That said, for the price, it didn’t live up to expectations for me personally. The room felt dated and could use some updates and a fresh coat of paint What really bothered me was getting a random $10.35 charge on my credit card after checkout for minibar items... as if I wouldn’t notice. The front desk staff were friendly, and valet parking was offered but pricey, so we parked nearby for half the cost. Overall, nice area and convenient location, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to stay here again, given all the amazing hotels in the area.

Great stay in St Paul’s. Lovely hotel within walkable distance of old town. No bar (aside from restaurant) and gym tiny.. felt cramped with 3 people in it. Room was spot on and so clean and tidy. Would return but would have liked bigger gym.. that being said location was amazing so would compromise on gym!
