Charming old cottage beautifully restored with period fittings and furniture. Lovely bathroom added but kitchenette has no running water. Different experience but we prefer modern more practical set up. Booking quoted in US dollars

Perfectly situated cosy cottage

We very much enjoyed our weekend at 1876 Stonemasons! From the intricate cornices & ceiling roses, to the spacious bathroom with a luxurious spa bath, this cottage certainly delivers! Ideally situated between the beach & the township, making exploring Moonta a breeze; we didn’t use our car all weekend! We loved walking along the jetty & exploring the shops on the main street, and a highlight was our delicious dinner at Capella’s on Henry Street. Thank you Colin & Anne for a wonderfully relaxing weekend in your cottage, and we certainly appreciated the anniversary treats you left for us!

Absolutely the best place to stay. Beautifully restored and presented cottage you could wish for.

Had a great holiday. The hosts were lovely and couldn’t do enough to make our stay enjoyable. The cottage is beautiful and the attention to detail is amazing. Couldn’t ask for more.
