No Tv. Almost non-existent wifi. It was only hotel in that town. However, it was in beautiful location , and library do offer a free wifi.

A very uncomfortable bed with an old mattress. Heater didn’t work in the room and an electric heater didn’t keep the room consistently warm especially at nights. We checked out one day earlier than planned because we didn’t sleep well for two previous nights.

We thought we were staying at the lodge, but was given a room across the street at an older drive up motel they may have acquired later. No fridge, TV, coffee maker or microwave. Very very basic and small . Clean though and there was coffee at store across the street for morning. Ok for a quick overnite but not fir anything more

Beautiful area. Needs an update. From a fire safety perspective the detectors were way out of date and their fire extinguishers were not serviced since 2017. Electrical was lacking

This is a cute, no frills lodge in a beautiful spot. The lake outside is stunning. We didn’t have the chance to kayak, but I’m sure it would have been amazing. The staff here is great; very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our dinner at the restaurant, too. And there’s a great deli/espresso/store across the street. We stayed here twice on our 10 day trip and would stay here again.

Restaurant was friendly and inviting, especially without them having internet interruptions unfortunately ,But the staff was still in full swing carrying on like nothing happened they were excellent 👍 👏

Some rooms don't have a TV or fridge so make sure you pick a room with what you want when you book. Disappointed that room was extremely basic (no end tables, no place to put hand towels) Very nice lake on property but the dock needs repairs. Restaurant is great and very friendly staff.

I was prepared for the condition of the MOTEL LODGE , I read the reviews about the bait and switch. Even so, it was still hard to digest the lack of authenticity of what was advertised and what was actual. It’s really misrepresentation. But if you have no other option, it’ll do

We arrived very late- staff made check in very smooth and helped prior to arrival. Let us stay a couple extra hours to get needed sleep after delay at airport. Beautiful spot- wish we could have stayed longer.

Great Stay!

Yes, the room was small but comfortable. Very safe and quiet. Complementary coffee, tea, or cocoa at the restaurant. It is not the Hilton but was perfect as a kick off to Seward (about a 30 minute drive). We ate at the restaurant for breakfast and supper and both meals were delicious. I would stay here again-the sheets were clean and the water was hot! I do not need much else.
