PLEASE READ IT ALL…STAY AWAY! It’s not a 9.0

First of all, do NOT stay here. The lady before me who reserved a room on hotels.com had her room cancelled and was forced to find a room after midnight in the middle of no where with kids in the car. But let’s talk about the room..first thing I noticed is what looked like a brown recluse on the towels in the bathroom. The ceiling had been repaired poorly and looked like it was about to fall in, the shower rod was sagging so bad because it was broken at the ends and the curtain wouldn’t stay closed, the carpet was BLACK in the traffic areas, the mattress cover and box spring was DISGUSTING with stains that looked like blood popped bedbugs, there were bugs under the box spring cover and trash was under the mattress and it hasn’t ever been cleaned. There’s NOTHING good about this place unless you’re a greasy broke dope head with no money. The staff and management put down hotels.com to customers and was useless for help. I couldn’t stay after seeing all the stains and bugs and was forced to drive back home through the night. Bug bites, filthy room, unsavory conditions, find yourself another motel please. There’s absolutely NO reason they’re rated this high. Maybe a 4.5 at best. Don’t stay and bring bugs back to your house. This place remind me of a pay by the hour hooker hangout. There’s not enough space here to talk about how disgusting this place makes you feel. And the breakfast is just nasty. Extremely unclean, I couldn’t even eat there. STAY AWAY unless you like filth

Not as expected

The people who run the hotel are very nice and helpful. However, it's just not as nice a place to stay as the ratings make it seem. The floor in our hotel room was gross, to the point that I did not want to take my shoes off. You can tell they are trying to maintain the place, but it needs an awful lot of work to be as nice as I was expecting. I would not stay here again unless they completed some renovations. Otherwise, we were grateful to the owners/managers and they were quite lovely people, just not a great stay.

The attendants at front desk were kind and friendly. However, our room had a weird smell and the carpet was damp (which may have been cause of smell). We stayed 2 nights and on night 2 more towels were brought in but housekeeping didn’t make beds or takeout trash. The toilet got hung up every time it was flushed and had to jiggle handle to make it stop.. the bed I had was hard and didn’t sleep well. It was ok but not great. Free breakfast was nice but not the greatest of choices and definitely had better at comparable hotels.

Gem of a motel.

Very clean, great location and access to I-77, big pool, and friendly staff. Large Pilot truck service station about 500 yards away. Well lit parking area, and very safe. A welcome respite from the major chain motels.
