Clean, upbeat appearance. Good overnight room for business stay. No coffee except in room (All decaf but cheerfully exchanged). TV has good picture but nothing to watch except subscription channels. Was worth exactly what I paid ($120).

The repost itself was beautiful but the food was absolutely horrible. The buffets served cold, overcooked and undercooked food. The rice was hard as rocks and everything was under heat lamps but cold or lukewarm. There was No entertainment on Friday night and limited entertainment (shows) during my stay for Mother’s Day weekend (Friday through Monday). My vacation was very disappointing to say the least. I will not return to Bahia Principe Grand.

Our Stay Was Just “Okay”

Overall our stay was not that bad. There were a lot of guests and one of the 2 elevators was down. The television kept going in and out, and it took 20 minutes before the tech arrived to fix it. But, the mattress was good, and the young man that was at the desk in the evening was very personable and professional. We’ve stayed at much better places but this stay was okay.

Hotel is definitely dated. Some parts are roped off like where the waterpark used to be or the stairs to the second floor or certain hallways. It felt eerie. The room was 77 degrees when we got into it and 5 hours later is at 74. Our key didn’t work but front staff was nice.

Not a great experience.

Asked for a quiet room and he put me overlooking the highway rather than on back side of the hotel facing . Room was not clean. Very dirty floor and found hair ties from previous occupant. Batteries missing in tv remote. Equipment in gym did not work. Overall just a bad experience.

This was a disappointment for the money paid for a night s stay. This hotel was shut for a while while the new management took over and restarted it. I expected the restarted hotel to be better except that it was the old setup just restarted with everything crumbling. The hallways to the room smelled bad of old rotting carpet. The showers did not work, and the air conditioning did not work either. I just somehow managed to sleep through the night and took a shower. Finally the breakfast was a complete disaster. That's the worst I've had in any hotel anywhere. Overcooked rubbery sausage watered down watery dripping egg. The hotel might do away with the breakfast totally than to put out food like that. This is supposed to be a hotel for It was worse than the worst motels.

The room was not sound proof so we could hear the adjacent room very easily. It was awkward to hear the neighboring room getting busy if you know what I mean . Our tub didn’t drain well at all. The room was overall clean and the check in process was easy.
