Having never been to the area, a friend gave me the advice to stay in Mount Pleasant. It was a short uber ride away from both downtown Charleston for shopping, good food, and bars, and to Sullivans Island. The property was in great shape, the beds were comfortable, and it was very spacious and easily accommodated our large group. Itâs a cute neighborhood with some walkable grocery stores. Overall a great stay and would book here again!
The home was clean and the communication was good. The only concerns we had were the beds were hard and not comfortable, the pillows were flat, no fans on the ceiling of 2 of 3 bedrooms making it warm at night, the sink faucet in the main bedroom had very little water pressure, the blinds on the windows were broken in several places and there were no curtains allowing the sun to wake you up bright and early. For us, this was important but for others it may not be a big deal.
The Boroughs are fabulous hosts, and this property has everything you need for a nice stay in Mt Pleasant. The location is perfect -- close to everything at Shem Creek, Charleston, Isle of Palms & Sullivan's Island. The townhome is well stocked, clean and tidy. Yard was perfect for our 2 small shih tzu's. We enjoyed beautiful weather, too! Just look for the peach front door when you get there!
My Wife, Daughter and I went to Charleston for the Post Malone Concert and stayed an extra day as I also work in Charleston frequently.
This property was very clean and in a prime location in Mt Pleasant, close to restaurants, shopping, and minutes from the Isle of Palms (IOP) Connector to go the beach.
The property managers were great and there was great communication.
Definitely going back to this property.
Thank you!!
