We really enjoyed our stay. The place is clean and has everything you could need. Though we didnât use them this time, itâs great having a washer and dryer there. As well as having Wi-Fi that works well. we already have another stay booked, and look forward to many more.
Our first impression was not the best. The entry area had a strong unpleasant odor, and it remained throughout our stay. The downstairs bedroom beds appeared quickly made with the sheets and quilt/blankets thrown on rather than being tucked in. We were disappointed to find the closets locked and the large bureau filled with bedding. We were going to be there for 8 nights and had no place to hang our clothes, so we had to live out of our suitcases. We arrived with temperature in the 80's and had a frost midweek and we brought extra clothes for the temperature swing. We found blankets and towels in the dryer not fully dried and had fuzz over an inch thick on the filter. The preparations appeared to be hastily done.On the positive side, the area is very nice and quiet. There was more activity on the weekend but still quite nice. The people in the area are very friendly. The shops and stores were unique and interesting. The food was great wherever we ate. We especially like the Weatherwood Supper Club which was excellent.
Nice property but the dock on the water severely needs repair to make it safe to use. A couple steps down to the water also need repair. Gutters were clogged with water pouring over when It rained. Otherwise nice place that needs some love to bring it back to its full potential
Best place ever, The view the cabin is just fantastic. My family will be back next year. The host Natalie very informative with everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible, pretty Awesome JanieThank you
This property exceeding our expectations. Natalie was quick to respond and very friendly. Growing up my family and I would be up in the area every weekend. Even though it rained, we still had an amazing time and would definitely stay here again!
Overall quiet and secluded space with access to the water. Near lots of areas to kayak and or trail ride if thatâs what youâre into. We enjoyed three nights with comfortable furniture, firewood, to burn and beautiful sunrises over the trees. Great communication with the host and would recommend this spot to anyone.
Incredible Weekend Getaway â Peaceful, Cozy, and Perfectly Located!
We had the most incredible weekend at this charming riverfront cottage on Chute Pond! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the peaceful setting, cozy decor, and thoughtful touches throughout the home. The cottage was spotless, well-stocked, and had everything we needed for a relaxing and fun-filled stay.Waking up to the serene river views was magical, and we loved enjoying our morning coffee as the sun rose and wildlife roamed the water. The setting was peaceful and scenic, with the river just steps from the door. Inside, the space was warm and inviting, with plenty of room for us to unwind.Whether you're looking for a quiet retreat or an adventure-filled escape, this place truly has it all. The hosts were incredibly responsive and made sure we felt right at home. Weâre already planning our next visitâthis cottage is a true gem!
From the moment of booking till checkout the experience was AMAZING. Getting immediate contact from host, being welcome with a clean cabin, all necessities, the extra touch of a anniversary card to welcome us, willingness to be contacted if needed through our stay, the extras in a beautiful touch. We will forsure be back.
The view was spectacular and the accommodations perfection. I had a mini retreat for rest, relaxation, and renewal. Natalie was a sweet host and great communicator!
