Cheep, simple and easy⊠exactly what we wantedâŠ. Other than the microwave and coffee maker (due to electrical issues..circuit breaker issues?) flipping the electricity off whenever we tried to use it, itâs exactly how we expected it would be. Suggest bring sleeping bags and maybe a camp stove so you can heat food and stay warm at night.!
Wonderful stay in the jungle Fern forest, gravel road to the rental is in great shape, any vehicle would be fine. Exactly as described and pictured, nothing more or less, for the price it's 10/10; easy late arrival access with gate key code and cabin door code ; soothing coqui frogs all night after the neighborhood dogs settle in. somewhat thin walls with neighboring cabin, maybe bring earplugs
I was amazed how comfortable I felt. It had all the amenities of a higher priced place and was off grid. It was a unique experience and I loved coming home there.
It was perfect for our state. Very clean kind of treehouse vibes in the middle of the fern forest the price was extremely reasonable. Location is very secluded in the middle of the forest gravel road going in very dark if you come in late but very safe location we stayed in number five had a perfect shower table microwave small fridge upstairs had a bed and a restroom, I would recommend If you like to save the environment and stay away from lots of touristy types of properties. Had two towels for us and hangers for our clothes nice fan in the bedroom prizing cool you can hear a lot of the coqui frogs and lots of rain very soothing at night. Gated parking area we enjoyed our stay very very much and look forward to coming back.

Close the the park and very off the grid. Linens and towels provided along with a finicky microwave and cooler-sized fridge (bring your own plate/cup/silverware)
We enjoyed our stay at this very rustic small cabin. For the price, it can't be beat. Quiet, comfortable. The microwave is tiny; warming up most things will take a while. The small ice box worked great for a six pack. We were able to make coffee in the morning. The location is a little far out; be prepared to drive on gravel roads for roughly 2 miles. For us it was fine as our family lived within the area. We appreciated being able to save a little money.
This is the cheapest place to stay on Hawaii, the big island. I gave this property the highest possible rating in all categories. You may have to lower your standards to fit the price, but if you can wrap your mind around that you will be fine. It is surprisingly adequate. The owner told me that his place is the "$0.99 McDonald's Hamburger" of accommodations, which is a good way of looking at it. Enjoy!
The cabin was clean and a good size for a couple. It is in the middle of the forest which makes it peaceful and a great place to get away. The Coqui sounds at night time was amazing. Just a great overall experience!
