Let’s start with the good. The staff were, without exception, friendly and welcoming. Now the bad. While the hotel has been recently remodeled, much more work is needed. The shower in my room had significant amounts of mold and the caulking was failed all around. There were spots in the restroom ceiling that had obviously fallen in and were quickly and carelessly patched back up the water flow from the showerhead could best be described as a dribble at best. My shoes stuck to both the carpet in the room and the tile floor. And, worst of all, there were discomforting stains all over the sheets that I didn’t notice until the following morning. I understand low budget, no frills motels. There is a time and place for a nothing fancy but gets the job done option. Even at budget places there’s no room for mold and stained linens.
