Beautiful, historic hotel in the heart of old town Lucerne! Close to everything and we could get enough of the view of Jesuitkirche and the chapel bridge across the river from our private balcony. For location and views, would 10/10 stay here again! Tip- the breakfast buffet can be a little pricey, but the service was wonderful and a they offered a great spread or a-La-Carte options. Eating there is a quintessentially Swiss place to start your morning and you won't regret it.

Disappointed

Not so good. The least one can expect for the high cost is a quiet room. The windows are very thin and the noise outside makes it impossible to sleep. The hotel provides cheap earplugs as a solution. Our 7 year old son was able to come with us at the last minute. The hotel charged us an extra €80 a night because he was with us. It was a “child tax” as he slept in our bed. I guess the 80 was for the extra towel he used. Very disappointed. Do not stay here if you have a family and don’t expect to good a good night’s sleep.

Only downside of this property is that the uber or taxi will not take to it. Due to some street signs everyone was dropping me off beginning of the street. I wouldn't mind if it wasnt winter -7°
