Before departure, I made enquiries about the meeting point and the times for the shuttle and received information from the hotel same day. From the airport, I noticed that the driver drove past the Moxy but do not be alarmed as they do a loop, return and park close to the hotel (about 2-3 minutes walk). Check in/out was a breeze. I booked transfer to the airport at reception. Costs €10 and you receive a voucher. The room was functional/clean and suited me for a night’s stay. Return transfer is from the same spot as drop off.

Great Overnight Stay Near the Airport

We stayed at Moxy Munich Airport as a family of six, booking two rooms for an overnight stop before our flight. The hotel was clean, spacious, and newly renovated, with a fun and modern vibe. Breakfast was simple but sufficient - nothing fancy, but good value for the price. The airport shuttle can be arranged for 10 euro/person which made our travel stress-free. While it’s too far from Munich’s main attractions for sightseeing, it’s a great choice if you’re looking for a quiet, comfortable stay near the airport. Would definitely recommend for travelers needing a reliable airport hotel!

The Moxy Munich Airport hotel has a fun and quirky atmosphere. It was clean and modern. The room was very small and therefore, would not be suitable for a long stay, but overnight was fine. The staff were helpful. We were very pleased with the hotel dinner, which offered a good assortment of food, especially since there is absolutely no where else to go in the area to eat (without a car or taxi ride). The breakfast in the morning had lots of choices and was also very helpful to have, given the isolated location of the hotel. Having the shuttle to the airport was very convenient but expensive (10 euro per person), considering the short distance to the airport. All in all, a good experience. Would recommend.

Room is nice, clean, service is good, airport shuttle from Terminal 2 is free, going back to airport cost you €10 per person, the shuttle drops and pickup from next building so you have to walk about 3-4 minutes with your luggage so ve mindful of that. Hotel has limited but good food options from a menu, especially for Indian vegetarians, breakfast is nice with a good varieties. Overall, good stay!

Shuttle? All else good, except breakfast.

Still unclear about whether there shuttle picks you up from the Munich Airport. $10 got me to airport in the morning. The driver didn’t even bother with my ticket. Took pubic bus from airport between Terminal 1 & 2. The pick up spot moved as of December 2024.
