We arrived and the lift repairman was also arriving. We managed to get our bags up to the 6th floor in the lift. We came back Sunday after a long day of touring. The lift was down again. We reported it to the "host" and did not receive a reply until VRBO Support contacted them the next morning after we found a note taped to the call buttons stating it was out of service. VRBO received a response that the host could not give an accurate time for the repairs to be done. I have two replacement hips, an arthritic ankle. 6th floor in EU is 7th in US. We requested a refund and made other arrangements. The "host" came to the hotel door immediately after VRBO arranged the refund asking if we needed or bags taken down. I thought that was nice of the gentleman. we asked for another hour to pack and clean up. He never returned.I had to manage three suitcases, two backpacks, and some groceries down to the garage level. Eight floors. When he saw me on floor 2, he ignored me, pouring sweat and limping. I thought that was down right rude.Now, about the "kitchen". If all you need is to boil water or reheat soup, the single hotpate will get you there. there is no oven, a popup toaster, a miniature microwave. No cooking utinsiles other than a few knives, no strainer, no frying pan...The bed and view were nice, but in reality, it is simply a hotel room in an appartement building without services.
