Large very clean well appointed room. Bridgeport is comparable to the big city hotels with a good range of amenities (though a microwave would have been nice) and a lovely view of the Murray. My only very minor negative was in the main dinning room which is large and promoted as a bit upmarket. We were slightly surprised to find meals had to ordered and paid for up at the bar - the same as at the ordinary pub where we had lunch. Taking the order at the table seems more in keeping with their aspirations to be a better class of restaurant - nothing big but poorly thought out and perhaps saving one staff member out of many. Otherwise though Bridgeport is all very nicely done.

Stunning hotel. Staff are lovely. Happy to chat, very helpful, attentive but not in your face. The room we had was huge, (definitely room to swing a cat) The bathrooms are genius. Everything is bright, modern. Secured parking. We were hugely impressed. Small downers - Mac n Cheese was a bowl of crumbled corn flakes, gave up on it and disappointing no small brekky options - we just wanted toast/coffee - informed it’s a room service option. Went elsewhere. But would definitely stay again.

Rooms were excellent however they weren’t willing to try to meet my dietary requirements of dairy intolerant. Take what you get and if I needed anything else like almond milk I needed to pay more even though breakfast was included.

Absolutely fantastic hotel at a reasonable price. Staff upon arrival were delightful, rooms are fantastic, beds are super comfortable and the dining downstairs was great. A really great place to stay, I will definitely stay again.

Quiet and Upscale Accommodation

One of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed at for a long time! We enjoyed coffees listening to live music on arrival and a great meal in the evening. The room was spotless, well appointed and so very quiet. We thought we must be the only people staying on our level and were so surprised to find cleaners cleaning the room next to us in the morning. We’d definitely stay again.
