I visited this property for an extended weekend with my immediate family and sister-in-law's family. The location of the house is good (15 minutes to grocery, 25 to Dahlonega) and there is plenty of space in the bedrooms and common areas. Access to the dock was easy and the owners provided a kayak and canoe. It also appeared a new fire pit and patio area had been installed. Some of the indoor space could have been put to better use. The basement in particular had a large room that could have had a TV but was mainly empty. The sofa in the living room was also very uncomfortable. The main drawbacks were that some of the items in the listing were not provided as expected. There were no towels to use at the lake (very limited towels overall, actually) and there were no wood pellets for the grill. When I talked with the owner, he acknowledged that they didn't have those things but didn't offer any solution. Also, the coffee pot was much too small for a house with five bedrooms.Overall good experience, but the property needs some simple upgrades to the basic amenities to bring it in line with what I've come to expect in Lake Lanier properties.
