We have stayed here before and will definitely stay again. There is no dishwasher, but that is not a problem if you are prepared. Also, since the beach side porch is not covered, some sort of awning or umbrella would be nice. We also loved the tall chairs on the porch!! Great little house for small families!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: If location is important, and you are willing to forego the bells and whistles, this is your house! It was as clean enough and fairly comfortable. The deck overlooking the ocean was PERFECT! We were a family of 4 but the 3 bedrooms could handle plenty more. We rented beach cruiser bikes for the week which was a great way to explore the area. And it's a short walk to the pier for outdoor dining on typical beach food along with an ice cream shoppe. We unknowingly went during "Fall Bike Week" so there was pretty much a constant state of LOUD motorcycle noise every day til the wee hours. But I don't think that is the norm. With 1 remote worker and 2 kids virtual schooling wifi was very slow. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would go again.

The rear balcony with the chairs in front of the sea is exceptional. the mattresses are comfortableBut There is a significant problem of ants and moldThis house need a LOT of love, The floor needs to be completely redone, the front door needs to be changed, the refrigerator door needs to be repaired. there is no storage space in the kitchen for food. Since there is no dishwasher, the dishes are dirty. When we arrived, the used sheets and towels were still on the kitchen floor. We had to clean the bathrooms completely, the kitchen and the air conditioning system because the cleaning was not done properly. It was disgusting...that the good word... disgusting. We think you should keep small, well-maintained houses for families who don't want to travel in large groups. you must maintain an adequate service offer for low-income people. And offer a quality service in terms of cleaning and maintenance of these small houses. We are good customers, we come every year, but the same household problems are repeated. we can't rent big houses. We are one family, but we believe that we should have access to a service as good as the big houses...If the ants and mold problem (Floor) is set, we would come back in this house. Maybe add a dishwasher, because some people doesn’t wash properly their dishes...

The master bathroom could use a little update on it but all in all we enjoyed our week. We did have to buy some terro and throw away some food in the cupboards due to ants polluting but they cleared up after 2nd day.

We don't need fancy, just comfortable. We had an issue with a bedroom overhead light/fan and Garden City Realty couldn't have been more helpful!

We chose Cloud nine because of the size, floor plan, and location: We need only 3 bedrooms , prefer a center living area, and have to be right on the beach! The house is clean and well-kept. It is old and the bathrooms are small, but who cares? The living area and kitchen are spacious, comfortable, and full of daylight. The one surprise is there’s not a usable closet in the main bedroom: that’s where the water heater is. We’d change that and put one of those small, immediate heat ones under the house. And we’d add a roof on the beachfront porch so we could sit outside more. We made future reservations before we left and hope to continue renting Cloud Nine for years! That tells you something!

Kitchen cabinets were painted and brings a much needed update. It looks great! The vents in bathrooms and living room need attention/cleaning. There were shoes and food left under the couches. There was hair stuck in the shower drain. The location is ideal & the continued upgrades are nice with the amount of money out costs to rent.

Yes the property needs some upgrades (interior painting, for example) but the owner has obviously made regular improvements. We had a couple of issues (kitchen light, trash can) and Garden City Realty provided prompt, helpful responses. We had a wonderful month there and really felt like we were on Cloud Nine!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was really cute with a wonderful beach front view. The ocean front porch was fabulous with very comfortable oversized chairs and a couple rockers. The problems while we were there was a very strong stale cigarette smoke smell that maintenance and housekeeping promptly dealt with by changing the a/c filter and sprays for odors and outlet scented diffusers. Then we discovered an ant problem in one of the bedrooms and in the kitchen which we called about but never heard back about what would be done. The house is an older beach home that needs some TLC and updating. The kitchen cabinets were a little sticky so needs a good cleaning. We knew there was no dishwasher before we rented it so that was no big deal. The beds are very comfortable. I’m not sure We’ll rent this property again. Only if we have no other choices, whitch is a shame because you can’t beat the location and the perfect ocean front property.

House is nicely decorated and beds were comfortable. We enjoyed both of the large decks/porches. Location is great. The only con is because of no dishwasher the house could really use a dish strainer/dryer. We loved this house and plan to book for our 2023 trip!

I left a not so pleasant review last year about this property and every issue that I pointed out was corrected. We had a representative from the Garden City Realty team show up an hour after we checked in to make sure that we were in and happy with all of the the corrections that the homeowner made. This is now a great house for a small family like mine to call home for a week. There are not many small rentals around this area that are on the beach and this close to the GC pier, so thanks for the TLC that was given to Cloud 9 to keep families wanting to come back for more sand and sun! I will be calling this week to book Cloud 9 again for 2023!Thank you Garden City Realty for listening and taking action!

Nice but needs general maintenance

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: location, location, location! This is an older home that needs some TLC! To many things to list. The main issue was ANTS! Ants in home, on counter top getting all over food. Others issues range from loose door knobs, front storm door wouldn’t shut, outside property maintenance needs done (shrubs, vines, sand). No dish washer, had to hand wash dishes! Not convenient for a $4,000 + weekly rentalI would recommend if ants were exterminated and general maintenance was performed!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family vacation at this location was enjoyable. The big plus was having direct access to the beach...which was great with a 4 yr old and a 81 yr old! However, the house needs some TLC. The outside of the house has siding coming off of it, ocean side at the tip has a large hole, and the underside needs help (green mold and holes). The bathrooms have no where(shelves/storage) for you to put your bathing items, kitchen has no storage for food, couple of the beds need to be replaced (like sitting on the floor), air filter screen needs to be painted and the interior needs to have a detailed cleaning job done (dust on artificial plants and living room walls have something on them).
