Unfortunately, our trip occurred as tropical storm Debbie was rolling through the Carolinas. That being said, we were 11 adults, 1 toddler, and 2 dogs, trapped in a house for nearly a week and we managed to survive! The house accommodated us very well when it came to sleeping arrangements and having a large space to eat and hangout as a family. Brock was a wonderful host and did a great job communicating with us about what to expect with the storm. The covered garage(?) area on the lower level of house allowed us a space to get outside even with all the rain and we played A LOT of ping pong to kill the time. The pool, even though minimallly used, was awesome and same with the big backyard. Elevator was a huge help for moving luggage and family members who struggle with steps. The beach is half mile down the road and easily accessible. For more privacy you can a little further south to get away from the crowds. Youâre right off 17, very easy to get tot he tracery store and restaurants. Overall, the house was great and helped make a rainy vacation an enjoyable one.
