Just like we remember

My family has been coming to Ocean Cove for over 40 years and it has always been a good time. Great location, the property is well kept and quiet, and there is always ample beach space. 306 was a treat and in great condition for its age. Sure, it could use some minor touch ups, but there were no glaring issues and everything was easy! Would reccomend to a friend and will definitely be coming back. Thanks!

Reviewer Comments: The first six days of our vacation we had very good weather, the rental property was nice (our second stay in this property)and there were no lines at the eating places. Then Hurricane Hermine hit. It was quite an adventure. All in all we had a very nice stay. We look forward to coming back.

Reviewer Comments: On our first day when we checked in, the low battery alarm was going on, Internet did not work, TV in living room did not work. Called the garden city rental they did send some one to take care of the low battery alarm but rest of the things were NOT taken care of. The carpet was black in some spaces, need replacement. The refrigerator shelf was shoved in and there was a foot print in front of the refrigerator when we checked in. The beds were okay. The utensils were okay. The chair on the from porch was broken and it was replaced when we called in. Overall I would consider this place needs a lot of work to fix

The furniture in the living room was dirty & uncomfortable. There are no ceiling fans in the unit which are needed for air circulation. The cookware needed to be replaced. The washing machine had rust in it. The balconies were wonderful. The view was perfect.

We have stayed in this area for about 10 years and its always a great area. The unit we stayed in was outdated. The oven barley works. Its rigged to only turn on with a certain combination of dials. Once its on, the back right burner is on full blast and the vent for the stove goes right into that burner. Once you figure out how to turn the stove on, it only cooks the top of whatever is in it. The A/C never cools the back master room. Its a furnace in that room while the other rooms are freezing. The pool was great and the beach access was perfect.

I put brochure's in my work place. My kids were jealous of us because they love Myrtle beach also. Looking forward for our 30th anniversary next year with all 16 family members.
