For us, being awawy from the grand strand at myrtle is a plus. We like calm and a family enviroment. It is still close enough to many fun attractions.

I got to see a lot of properties for my upcoming stay in June. The only problem I had was with my request to look at other places I was only given 5 places at 1st none of which I ended up staying at since their were better options given the next day. The place we stayed at was very nice and I would rent it again in the off season.

With the changes the owner has made in the last few years we have decided it was time to move as it was no longer comfortable for us on the balcony with the change in seating. We would spend so much time out there and this year it was something we were not able to do. You should update your pictures.

Bathroom has been remodeled. The half bath is nice to have. Kitchen is looking a little tired, but it was clean. The plastic Adirondack chairs were comfortable. We would stay again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Was very disappointed with the problems I had with Garden City Reality. We arrived after midnight which I had told the realty. We were never send the code to get into our room. It took a couple of hours to finally get the code. The condo door did not have a dead bolt lock which meant anyone with the code could walk in which is what happened two different times. Code was changed before we checked out so we had to call to get code reset. Stopped by the reality on our way out and explained all problems to the manager who said she would check into it and call me by the next day. I never received a call. Main problem with condo is there is not a restroom near the pool or anywhere outside which means you had to go back to condo to use the bathroom. With condo on the 10th floor it took a while to come and go for bathroom use. Will not book Garden City Realty again.

Furniture and decorations in the living, dining and bedroom were all very nice. We did have a few suggestions... would have liked a fire extinguisher in the unit for safety sake. Recommend someone look at the clutter and content of all the kitchen cabinets. There was no cutting board, ice cream scoop or scissor. Silver ware and frying pans were marginal. Too many of some size glasses and not enough of others. Same with plates. Not enough coffee mugs. All in all we felt the kitchen needed quite a bit of attention. TV by the way was very good.

Reviewer Comments: drove down apparently you need a code to get out to the beach and pool which i was not given the sticker for struggling to get out using my door code because we didn't know. Guests telling us to leave that we didn't belong there. Didn't matter that my car was parked there with a permit or that our belongings were in our room couldnt go out to the beach after our drive and had to wait for garden city to open on monday. ac condensate line was very noisy as well kept us up at night

Nice...Could Be Amazing

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit has a beautiful view! However, there are several issues that could turn this property into an amazing rental. When we checked in, we realized the shower curtain liner in the master bath was absolutely filthy, covered in "pink mold" (Actually it is Serratia marcescens, a microorganism commonly referred to as pink mold). A call to housekeeping remedied the situation, but I question how this was passed over by housekeeping. The receptacles in the bathrooms weren't working; we had to ask maintenance to repair those. The clothes closet in the master bedroom was full of pillows, etc., making it difficult to hang our clothes. The patio offered a very peaceful setting to watch the ocean; however the patio furniture was very dirty. There is one very small purchase that would make a huge difference in the kitchen. The trash can requires putting your hand on the top to open it, meaning your hands are in contact with the garbage. A kitchen trash can with a foot pedal would be fantastic. Overall the until fell a bit below our expectations...with some freshening up, a diligent cleaning and a few minor improvements, this condo could be a premier property.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Just spent a wonderful week in 1009. The property was clean and comfortable. The balcony was the ideal spot to watch the sunrise in the morning. The living area was comfortable and the beachy decor was beautiful. The kitchen was very convenient, but lacked a few items that I needed in order to prepare a meal. A larger glass baking dish or two is needed and the prep knife selection was very poor. I was happy to see a Kehrig type coffee maker as well as a regular coffee maker. The bedroom was very nice. The bed was soft and comfortable. I just wish it was king instead of queen. The bookcase/cubby storage unit in the closet made hanging clothes almost impossible. I wish the storage unit had been in the living area instead of the bedroom closet. There is generous drawer storage space in the bedroom furniture. The bedroom TV is tiny and sometimes we could not get it to work properly. I am sure that was operator error and not the tv's fault. The bathroom shower was great! The washer/dryer was nice and allows me to come home with clean clothes instead of dirty laundry. The location is close to restaurants, shopping and activities. I would definitely consider staying here again. Garden City Realty is great to work with too. I wish I was still there.
