Only downfall is the homes on each side of this one appear not to be rentals. The homes are cluttered. Junk everywhere. Disgusting. Cannot believe people live like this. Such an eyesore! The worse homes there! That is the only drawback. These 2 nasty homes. Takes away from the beauty of this house!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The weather was great and we enjoyed our stay. The house beside us was a disaster. Police came and left tag on boat about the accumlation of junk and overgrown lot. Appears to be a hoarding situation. Our house could use some deep cleaning. Floors and carpet were sandy like they hadn't been vacuumed. First morning we got up ants were covering everything in the kitchen. Had to throw away some food and go to Kroger for ant spray. The concrete parking under the house had not been cleaned or swept in a long time. Appeared to be black mold growing around the edges and the whole area was covered in a layer of dirt and sand. All the other houses were not like that. BUT after getting through all of that we settled in and had a nice stay.

It wasn't super clean, Like there was other peoples hair on the back of the toilet a big wad of tooth paste in the sink, sand everywhere ( I mean its at the beach so of course theres sand but it had carpet and it was full of sand) oh and did I mention it stunk. We ended up eating out the whole time because it stunk to the point I didn't want to eat there and I sure didn't wanna cook there I stayed on the porch most of the time. GCR sent a lady out to try to get rid of the smell she was so sweet and tried really hard she even left us with extra febreeze plug in but she couldn't find it. GCR called several times during the week but was not able to fix the rotten fish smell. I was a lot to pay for a stinky room.

Safe and quiet neighborhood. My family and I will definitely rent this house again!

One of our sons ended up sleeping on the couch which he said was more comfy than the bed. Other than that it was perfect for us. We rented a golf cart so we were able to zip around without getting in the cars. Would go back to stay there again. We were very pleased with Garden City Realty as well..

Nice Place for a family vacation

The property is kids and family friendly; due to the pandemic, we were a bit skeptical about going out to eat so we were able to cook every day and prepare our meals since the kitchen was fully equipped. WE were able to walk and get ice cream since the shop store was a close walking distance. The only thing that I think it can use improvement is that we found ants on the property, it was not that big a deal for us, we just did not leave anything on the floor or too close to the bedroom walls. Overall a quiet and nice stay. Garbage was full when we got there because I think the previous family did not take It out on time so I suggest you should get another an extra trash can. I will definitely go back there in the future with my family.

Best Kept Secret in Garden City!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Easy Tides was even better than we expected! We were looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway and that is exactly what we got. We are already looking forward to returning someday. The house is beautifully decorated and highly functional for couples or families. It was conveniently located with a very short walk to the beach. We had a golf cart delivered by Ajax Rentals and they picked it up at the end of our trip. We used it to zip all over town and to make carrying our beach gear a little easier. The outdoor shower was a very nice amenity. We had both indoor showers and the outdoor one going at the same time and never lost water pressure. There is plenty of parking as well. We were worried about our full size pickup truck being too tall but there was plenty of clearance for it. The rocking chair front porch is perfect for relaxing and reading a book. You can catch a good nap in the hammock as well. We didn't do much cooking but it looked like the kitchen was well stocked with whatever you might need to prepare a meal. We enjoyed several area restaurants including Sara J's, Gulf Stream CafƩ, River City CafƩ, Sam's Corner, Paula Deen's, Crabby Mike's, Fat Jacks, and Pier 14. If you are looking for a very clean, conveniently located home for your next vacation, look no further than Easy Tides. Book it today, you will be glad you did!
