This was a nice, spacious apartment that is about 15 minutes from Michigan’s Adventure. The location was surprisingly very quiet. The unit was very nice and clean. The beds were large and relatively comfortable. We also liked that the curtains had thick and thin blinds to block out light for sleeping. The owner’s communication was good when I had questions. There is also a coffee shop and ice cream parlor on the first floor of the building, which was a nice convenience if we wanted a treat. The towels were very soft and absorbent. I would definitely recommend the unit. It was a lot more room than you would get at a hotel. Since we had so many guests, it was much more economical.
My only recommendations: Perhaps change out the shower heads. The water pressure isn’t the best. I would also buy some cheap plastic dinner plates. The ones in the unit were heavy ceramic and with young children I was a little nervous letting them use them. The water can get extremely hot. I didn’t look at the water heater, but it seemed to be a lot hotter than the recommended 120°. Our kids didn’t have issues, but I can see accidents happening if you’re not expecting the heat. Small suggestions, nothing Earth shattering. I would stay again.
