Of the two nights we were there, one of them was spent hot with no access to change the temperature, and with one of the two toilets unusable. We specifically chose this place to have two bathrooms and were not able to use one of them. It was clear someone knew because the water had been turned off to it. So it should have been fixed before we arrived. Lastly, the wall that's being held together by TAPE is falling apart. Might want to actually fix that.
The view was great. The location was okay. But I did have a problem. In the master bedroom the was a big hole in the wall. In the description it said that they was some wallpaper damage. Didnât say that they was a big hole. I reached out to the manager and they was suppose to send someone up and no one ever showed up. I will post pictures below.
The building is definitely an older building and needs upgrades. The biggest complaint is that we were told a couple weeks beforehand that there would be no access to the balcony. We could not find another place within that time frame to accommodate us as the balcony was pretty important. The air conditioner was not accessible - 71 was what it was set on and you could not make it any cooler.
Aweful. The carpet was absolutely filthy. Bar stools - filthy. Tears in pillow on one chair. Sink in master bathroom drained very slow and the water in the shower did not get hot. The water in the other bathroom was fine. Tv in master bedroom, but no cable box so it could not be used. All of this and they refused to give a refund. Bad business. DO NOT RENT THIS ROOM!
We did not get to stay I took off work paid for the room and the elevators did not work so I could not go up the 6 floors of steps. My health will not let me climb that many stairs. We were sent to another hotel and we got there unloaded and they made a mistake and said that room and asked us to get out of the room. I have all paperwork to prove all statements. Then they finally told us at 10:30pm at night that they did not have any rooms in the Myrtle beach area so we had not choice but to go home. I still have not hit my refund for the room. My next step is a small claims court
The area was really nice and quiet. The price was a good price point. But if i could change anything it was be the outdated furniture and enlarge the size of the TVs in the unit.
We weren't notified of a repair man coming to fix the stove which would have been nice to be told. Missing basic cooking items like a pizza pan and pizza cutter. Had to move knobs around on the lamps since we couldn't get them to turn on without it. Was clean overall but could use some updates. Was right on the beach which was amazing and has a decent pool.
2 night stay with a beautiful view. Stores and restaurants close by. Boardwalk and barefoot landing a must..either Uber or drive- we did both.
The condo was a little outdated. Outlets were loose- afraid to put plugs in them. The master bedroom carpet was stained and the master bath main lighting- was touchy⊠sometimes it worked sometimes it didnât. But the view of the Ocean while sitting on the balcony eating breakfast, or at night just relaxing was spectacular.
I gave it 3 stars as it was not as clean as other condo's & Cabins I have rented to the past vac.
Room carpets were not clean. Found shoe's under the dresser and Chip Crum's in one of the beds. Had to wash before feeling comfortable to sleep in. Doors broken on closets. Not at all what I expected for the cost. Counters had to be cleaned. My Wife wanted to find another place and said she felt we should have been compensated for the condition.???
