The staff was excellent. The facility itself has seen better days. It’s clean enough. With a little TLC from maintenance and a cleaning service it could be a lot better. Also, drain the pool, river and hot tub to scrub and paint it. Details matter.

The room was run down we saw two roaches and the office staff was pleasant to get us another room but if one room got them the whole building do. The boardwalk was beautiful with the Christmas lights. The ceiling fans was dirty and the place need to be updates and pest control!! Disappointed

I could write a book on my stay but I’ll try to keep it short. First off, the pictures are contradicting. They forgot to add the rust, grime, and pubic hair. Not to mention the BLACK MOLD, spiders, and roaches. After unpacking and trying to settle in, I suddenly had trouble breathing, I went to use the restroom and found not 1 but 2 roaches playing tag with each other. When trying to catch these love birds, behold I found black mold.. something I’m highly allergic to! But why should the property know this? Do I have to put that out there just incase? This is awful. And don’t get me wrong, the staff were kind and did their best to accommodate us. They moved us over to the “suite” with the jacuzzi that had pubic hair galore. The entire place smelled like a sewer. If I wanted to lay down in filth, I could have just slept outside on the sidewalk for free. I am thankful for how the manager comped me for the night.. and didn’t charge me to move.. (I should not have had to pay anyhow).. and gracious to how kind Expedia was to help resolve my issue. But this was the worst experience during any of my travels. I did not sleep a wink and this was suppose to be my down time as a single mom. lol. But of course that did not happen. Do not stay here. Do not waste your time or your travel plans. Do your research and don’t trust the pictures. That’s all. I guess this was a book.
