True Blue Golf Club is amazing. The community itself is amazing. I’m just not sure the management company cares enough about this property to be honest. The three bedroom condo itself was great. Plenty of room, great location. However, the management company clearly doesn’t put a lot of stock in this property. There was a dead cockroach in the living room first of all. Secondly, the master bedroom instead of a King size or even a queen size bed had TWO full size beds pushed together. And none of the beds were even remotely comfortable. It was about a 10 minute drive from check in to True Blue and before I even got there the management company called and tried to lure me to a morning “event” with “free” gifts. And when I told the lady on the phone I haven’t even made it to my room yet and I had a long drive, she persisted that I pick a time. And when I when I wouldn’t commit to a time she just put me down for a time. Needless to say I did not go. Overall, True Blue is a great place, but I don’t think the ownership group cares about the property, just their own resort by the sea.

When you book do not be fooled by the pictures. The accommodations are not what you see in the photos and it is not walkable to the beach. Only those who rent condos, homes or rooms directly on the beach have access by car. The room was small, not very clean and the walls are paper thin. The seaside inn is a motel not a hotel of any caliber. For 1000 stay I was more than disappointed and would never stay there again.

Good Place to Stay

Room was nice. Location is great. Access to beach is nice. However, resort is a little dated. Also, the fitness room is a joke. I think it was the size of my old office so that only a couple people could even hope to work out at the same time. If you're not worried about working out, the place is nice overall.

Villa on the green

We originally booked two room suite at the homestead part of the resort. When we checked in we were placed in a two room villa on the golf course. It was spacious and comfortable. Very quiet and restful. We had a wonderful stay. Our only disappointment was that we were not within easy walking distance of the beach. That was the reason why we booked the reset suite. We were informed at check out that 3rd party businesses had overbooked the type of room that we wanted. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. All said we had a great time

DO NOT STAY HERE

This place is nothing like shown. Dont do it. We were supposed to have a king bed, queen bed, and double bed. We got 2 twin beds pushed together in each room. If you want to use the kutchen, bring your own dish soap, dishwasher pods, and dish towels and clothes. The living room furniture was nice. The entry door key was difficult to use. The key had to be jummied around to make it unlock. The pool was nothing fabulous. If you were expecting to use the lazy river and big pool, you had to dri e 4 miles to another resort to do so. Not at all what stated in description. There was no beach access or shuttle. Public beach access was 2 miles away. Bring your own beach and pool towels. While were there the unit above had plumbing issue that came thru the ceiling into our master bathroom. The check in was 4 miles from location. We found dirty towels behind our bathroom door and under the sink. For the amount of money i spent, i was very disappointed.

False advertising

Staying at this resort is misleading. It's hard to find anything, nothing is labeled. Finding the pool is difficult. They advertise a shuttle to take you to beach! It's all lies. WIFI doesn't work! It took 4 different passwords and I still couldn't make calls. I had to go outside. Just not a fun experience we will not be back!

They state that someone will come by each day to bring fresh towels, etc. we were there 4 days until someone came and took the trash and gave us fresh towels. The oven also didn’t work and called the front desk to inform them, since it ruined our dinner but the seemed unconcerned. Other than that, it is a nice place to stay just wished they tried to make it right to my self and my family especially with the cost that we paid.
