After I booked through Vrbo, payment info was requested through email/text and completed on a 3rd party site instead of through Vrbo. The host “Julie” seems to be a bot/AI with automated answers from BigFish rentals. When we checked in, the room had not been cleaned at all with dirty towels on the floors, beds unmade, food left in the fridge, and missing one of the allotted parking passes. I tried to call BigFish rentals but was instructed to only communicate with the “host” through text. They sent cleaners to come and they brought the 2nd parking pass. They did not take the trash/food from the fridge and the “host” informed us they don’t provide toilet paper or paper towels. Once the room was cleaned (floors, new towels, fresh sheets/beds made), there were no other issues besides occasional bugs on the screened in balcony. The cleaners didn’t dust so there were cob webs in corners/upper parts of the walls. The location was great, we had no trouble finding parking (we stacked 2 cars in a bay), the living room TV had streaming services signed in already, and the price was reasonable for the amount of space. For the price, I would definitely say this is a fair booking and would still recommend but some more attention to detail, communication available by call, and a deep clean of the space top to bottom should be done.
