The room was NOT AS THE PHOTO showes in the listing for the room. The office explained that they have 2 towers one is much nicer also even though it says Wyndham resort it is not. It is a hotel on the property of a Wyndham hotel.Any how the biggest upset was sanitary pads on the bathroom floor. Dirty food filled dishes left in the fridge. Just nasty. Also when we checked in they took a 200 deposit for damages. Then pushed for me to take insurance at the cost of 35.00 extra. "Incase we scratch the furniture" is what we were told it was for. When we got to our room i was sure of a mistake. The grounds were in excellent condition and staff was great. NO maid service at all. No pans in my kitchen. Kitchen light would not come on. The living room had broken molding/ missing. Old secondhand furniture, an awsome bed. Great ocean view, not ocen front that i thought we were splurging on, but a good side view.

We had cockroaches in our room. They did come spray but it didn’t do any good. Also when you’re at the pool there is no bathroom. You have to take the elevator up to the second floor to use the bathroom.

I loved the property amenities and that I had access to the beach. The vending machine was perfect for a late night snack and drink. I hate that one machine ran out of water and you couldn’t retrieve your money afterwards. So I had to make another selection. I did not like finding a roach crawling around in my room. That made me uncomfortable the rest of my stay for one night. I was hoping none were going to be carried out in my personal belongings. Staff were friendly and accommodating which I loved.

My experience

I only needed a place to stay honestly. I went because my boy had a soccer tournament. However, we did spend time in the hotel’s pools. They were clean and basically empty- no people at all (i like it better than when i go to crowded pools). They had a jacuzzi and multiple pools (indoor/outdoor). The hotel was clean for the most part for the exception that i saw dog poo on the elevator floor ! The people in the office (One specifically named Mark) was AMAZING! Super helpful! I wish all were as helpful and easygoing like him!
